My review and words about Alessandroni and Morricone and For a Few Dollars More soundtrack

in Writing & Reviews4 years ago (edited)

Today as I was searching the movie soundtracks, I suddenly saw this amazing master piece which it is one of the Ennio Morricone's works. I also have to add that there were always musicians who were working with Ennio Morricone which they also were taking parts of the project, like a guitarist who was adding his ideas to the song.

There was something special about Morricone's works, his orchestration often calls for an unusual combination of instruments, voices, and whistling. which you can hear them in most of those great Western music.

One of those musicians was Alessandro Alessandroni who was an Italian musician and composer and he was also a childhood friend with Morricone and he worked on number of soundtracks for Spaghetti Western movies. Alessandroni's guitar riff was central to the main theme for movies such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and you can also hear his whistle on the soundtracks for Sergio Leone's films, such as "A Fistful of Dollars", "For a Few Dollars More", "Once Upon a Time in the West", and another movie which calls Pervirella.

The song which I am going to share it with you guys is from For a Few Dollars More, I really love this piece, in this movie it is used as an old Clock's song which this music is not only a music for the audience which we usually hear the music in movies but it is not related to the characters and it is like the characters in the movie are not hearing that music but in this movie "For a Few Dollars More" This music is also in the story line and it has a meaning for the characters and it reminds them of an event which they are involved about it. Okay this is only a review for this song so I wont talk about its movie, I would like to ask you guys to listen to this great music:

Thanks for reading this post!

This soundtrack is so sick. I believe he developed it through the trilogy up to The Good, The Bad and The Ugly (1966)

I loved it too :) I think it can be related but also there is something special in those keys instrument which made it sound mysterious in this soundtrack.

Excellent movie, excellent soundtrack.

I always love these old Western Movies and their great soundtracks, I am glad you like it too :)
