After his adventures ended in the Harry Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe starred in many comedy and drama films, one of which was "Jungle" and released in 2017 with a duration of 115 minutes under the auspices of the product house Babber Films. directed by Greg McLean. This film is based on the true story of Yossi Ghinsberg, who is an adventurer from Israel in 1981 in the Amazon jungle.

The film, starring Daniel Radcliffe, is set in the 80s by trying to survive in the Amazon jungle, which is the largest and most deadly jungle in the world. Let's discuss the storyline and what is interesting about this film, and the things that confuse the audience.

At the beginning of the film we can see Yossi Ghinsberg (Daniel Radcliffe) who is an adventurer in Bolivia to explore the area, then he meets Marcus Syamm, a Swiss school teacher and Kevin Gale, an American climber and photographer. The three of them stay at an inn in the city of La Paz.

The three of them wanted to explore the Amazon jungle, Ghinsberg then walked alone to the market and there he met a man, namely Karl Ruprechter from Australia. Karl Ruprechter, who already knew Ghinsberg's desire to explore the Amazon forest, immediately approached Ghinsberg and told him that in the Amazon there are Indian tribes who are still alive.

Karl Ruprechter tried to convince Ghinsberg and said that they would be fine if they just walked in there with someone who was already familiar with the Indian chief, Ghinsberg began to trust Karl even though this Karl didn't know anything about Indian tribes. But what Karl meant to say to Ghinsberg and convince Ghinsberg to come with him nobody knows.

Ghinsberg, who had firmly believed Karl words, was eager to follow Karl into the Amazon jungle to see the Indians there, Ghinsberg tried to convince his friends to come with him.

The three finally agreed to travel into the Amazon thanks to Ghinsberg's seduction, They began to get ready and pack the things they deemed necessary to carry on their trip. The next day the four of them immediately traveled into the Amazon jungle, guided by Karl.

While on their way they met a tribe where Karl seemed to already know the chief and the inhabitants there, they decided to rest there one night and continue the journey the next day.

The chaos started from here, Ghinsberg's friends started to get tired and injured his leg and they asked to rest for a while, but Karl started to get angry and wanted to leave them.

There was a river whose water flow was very swift, the four of them had to go through it. This is where they began to separate from each other, Karl continued his journey but Ghinsberg then separated from his friends. The former Israeli soldier had to survive alone. Without food, and other equipment. Which has been washed away in the river.

Ghinsberg, who had been separated from his friends for three weeks, began to give up and gave up, not to mention his physical condition, which had started to become weak and emaciated due to lack of food and sleep. In the wilderness of the Amazon Ghinsberg meets a woman who makes him a little relieved that he is not alone.

How it goes, is Ghinsberg able to survive and return safely?
And what about Karl, who died in the forest and his friends, did they also survive? You have to watch the film to the end to find out.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Jungle Film

In terms of graphics, this film is very good and satisfying because it looks very real. The total performance of Daniel Radcliffe also helped the film a lot and earned a lot of praise from film critics for being considered a perfect fit for Yosseph Ghinsberg's role.

But the drawback is that it is not described where the tribe they met for the first time. And the woman who was present in the middle of the forest with Ghinsberg also had no origin whether she was a real woman or just an imagination of Ghinsberg because it had been too long in the forest without meeting anyone.

The storyline of the film was also very boring at the beginning of the film, the plot presented by Jungle was flat and slow. Which has the potential to bore the audience. So the role of Daniel Radcliffe in this film is not fully supported by the storyline.

The film also looks normal when Daniel Radcliffe is in the middle of the forest without any thrilling scenes and makes us panic, even though this thriller and Survival genre film should feature more dangerous and tense scenes.

Those of us who expect wild animals in this film are also disappointed because they don't show the wild animals that should exist because remembering this is the Amazon forest, the largest forest in the world and full of mystery.

Well, everything has happened, we can only enjoy a true story film that is melodramatic without any dangerous scenes that stimulate the adrenaline of the audience.

Hello, my friend, thanks for joining. Please remember that you can't copy-paste, not even aparagraph. Your post is very good, but there is a part of it extremely similar to this website:

https://www.archyde.com/synopsis-of-jungle-film-daniel-radcliffe-survives-in-the-middle-of-the-amazon-forest/

And please... read the rules of the contest... The review cannot have more than 250 words.... It's ok if you have 300 or 350... I can read that, but there are a lot of entries my friend...

Anyway thanks a lot for joining!

Dear my friend i think just one paragraph similar with source you send to me that is ''then he meets Marcus Syamm, a Swiss school teacher and Kevin Gale, an American climber and photographer. The three of them stay at an inn in the city of La Paz.''

It cannot be denied that it is very difficult to write not the same as other people because there are so many review content and movies that we watch are the same.

Btw thanks for reading my post.
