¡Wow este concurso ha venido a traerme muchísimos recuerdos y la emoción no me cabe en el pecho!
Yo estudié (Educación) Castellano y Literatura sin siquiera notar la influencia de los libros en mí. Desde muy pequeña estuve atraída a los cuentos.

EL ADIVINO

Para dar con este cuento tuve que emplear una búsqueda en google de nombres como “el rey lagarto/ el rey mentiroso/ cuento con una pirámide/ cuento del rey falso/ el rey adivino…” mi cerebro ya se daba por vencido hasta que di con el nombre El Adivino y reconocí la portada.

No recuerdo si el libro me lo compró mi mamá o una tía. Lo que sí recuerdo es que lo leí muchas veces y me reía sola. Pero tenía entre 6-8 años cuando lo leí.

RESUMEN:

Este cuento está inspirado en un relato popular ruso de Alexandr Afanasiev. Y habla de cómo un campesino cambió su destino apunta de mentiras y astucia. Además en la historia está el dilema sobre la inteligencia y el poder, ya que Lagartijo (nuestro protagonista) salta las barreras de la realeza con engaños. La versión de Playco Editores de 1998, tiene unas ilustraciones preciosas que fue lo que me enamoró.

Aunque este cuento no me lo contaron, yo lo leí solita, marcó mi infancia y mi vida porque la lectura apareció para quedarse. Realmente muero por tener este cuento nuevamente en mi biblioteca.

The Fortune Teller

** Wow, this contest has come to bring me many memories and the emotion does not fit in my chest! **
I studied (Education) Spanish and Literature without even noticing the influence of books on me. From a very young age I was attracted to stories.
To find this tale I had to use a google search for names like "the lizard king / the lying king / tale with a pyramid / tale of the false king / the fortune teller ..." my brain was already giving up until I found the name ** The Fortune Teller ** and I recognized the cover.
I don't remember if the book was bought by my mother or an aunt. What I do remember is that I read it many times and laughed alone. But I was between 6-8 years old when I read it.

Abstract

This tale is inspired by a Russian folk tale by Alexandr Afanasiev. And it talks about how a peasant changed his destiny points of lies and cunning. Also in the story is the dilemma about intelligence and power, since Lagartijo (our protagonist) jumps the barriers of royalty with deception. The version of Playco Editores from 1998, has beautiful illustrations that was what made me fall in love.

Although this story was not told to me, I read it alone, it marked my childhood and my life because reading appeared to stay. I'm really dying to have this story back in my library.
