LETTING GO

We took a walk down memory's path,
We hunted demons, we chased the shadows,
I learnt courage, I practiced Faith,
I stood taller my strides showed confidence.

We bare our hearts to each other,
The quiet louder than our words,
Our heart and mind didn't seem to synchronize,
But we chosed to ignore the signs.

I'll let my head speak cause my heart betrays me so,
Bearing in mind that this won't do,
Hoping for something more,
I'll let the whispers assure my heart,
While letting fate decide,
I chose to let go
