By aparently shameless brutal disconnected cruel people
forcing their inhumanity upon others
forcing their disconnectedness
upon our world
now trying to force their inhumanity upon our children
converting schools into places where we build ...

robots

converting the sky into a space of lack of love where
only following rules and regulations
giving away your freedom with every heartbeat that you
follow unquestioned their narrative
their fearmongering
their hate
they hate
they dont know love.
do they?

I feel bruised
bleeding my heart through
hearing about children who have become sad
sad in school
sad so they don't eat
sad feeling lost.
becoming ill of loveless care
dying
taken away all that was beautiful
all that was for joy

just performance is being asked.
What are you here for ?
Tell me where does this lead to any good?

MY heart is bruised
and I cry for all those little ones
who have no voice,
and who can not defend themselves.
You, are you someone who
makes them suffer ?
do you comply with all those things that
freeze our soul
and then... it matters not

I feel bruised
so much pain there
how can you be so detached that you do not feel that
in your high palace
sitting there
making sinister plans
for your game of power

I feel bruised
if you are my dark sibbling
then how can I make peace with this
how do we convert this
pollution
to something else

I wish for a bridge
where we may be able to see
where you may be open to listen
where we may reach to a conclusion
it does not have to be like this.

I feel bruised by your hardened heart.
