Hello to everyone in this community, goodmorning to you all and I want to believe that you all are doing just fine today.

It is a wonderful morning alongside a beautiful weekend, so I believe we are often choke up with watching movies and using our electronics so much more on a weekend since everyone is free today and that is why I have come to intimate you on an important topic today which I have titled fire outbreak caution.

It is a wonderful topic that is meant for everyone in this community and beyond the steemit platform, and as such please if you find this article beneficial to you, I urge you to resteem it so that your followers can also learn from it.

Yesterday was Friday and as such as a school called the fire brigade service of the Nigerian airforce in other to intimate us on the dangers of a fire outbreak and show us some demonstrations on how to turn off the fire if we are being faced with such event in the future.

They came with all their equipment for the service and I will be showing you life performance through pictures and the steps they carried out to put off a fire whenever it get started eventually.

But it will be wrong of me to do that if I do not explain what a fire outbreak is all about.

FIRE OUTBREAK

The word fire outbreak can be seen as an immediate start and increase of uncontrollable fire which is likely to destroy lives and properties.

It always comes with a spark, or began in a controllable manner at first but if not taken care of quickly, it will suddenly increase to a level of being uncontrollable, thereby consuming and destroying whatsoever that is standing in the way.

It is a dangerous scenario that occur mostly out of accidents, and carelessness. Not being focused to watching electric appliances and other factors at home, in school, companies, and offices. there are things that can start a fire outbreak which I will be highlighting in details

THINGS THAT CAN START UP A FIRE OUTBREAK

Certain things that are considered carelessly and without minding are the things which often leads to fire outbreak which we see these days, and I will be listing a few below.

This is another major causes of fire incidents in our society today. high voltage power supply has done much worse than good in causing fire outbreak in our society. The amount of power supply supersede the items it was meant to power and as a result of that, a spark in electrical appliances is noticed and as such, a fire outbreak begins.

The power holding companies are to be careful when supplying electricity to transformers which then transfer it to our various houses, because the amount of electrical voltage supplied determines the action of the electrical appliances in our houses.

Cylinders containing gas that is being situated in our houses should be placed carefully and should be kept of reach of children. The rate at which gas respond to fire is so powerful and that is why you are not expected to be careless when handling gas cylinders in your home.

Most people are careless and not mindful of the situation or the danger that comes with gas cylinders, this might probably be done out of ignorance or out of not paying attention to details.

It is advisable to always keep your gas cylinders outside the house and also make absolute sure that it is well tightened whenever you are done cooking to avoid escalation of gas in the air. Because when these gases are released in the air, unknowingly you then light up your matchstick to turn on the gas, immediately there will be a fire outbreak.

We should make sure that we pay attention to details before using our gas cylinders, electrical appliances, and other items that are susceptible to fire outbreak.

MAJOR EQUIPMENT AND METHODS USED TO STOP A FIRE OUTBREAK AND TO SAVE LIVES

There are certain measures and equipment which we can apply to control the spread of fire whenever it begins, and I will be highlighting some of them below.

• FIRE EXTINGUISHER - The fire extinguisher is a major instrument that is made up of different chemicals in other to stop the spread of fire thereby turning it off completely to save lives and properties in our society.

When we visit companies, offices, and reputable houses, we find out that every corner or floor has a fire extinguisher mounted on the wall. This is as a result of if there is a case of fire outbreak, the fire extinguisher can be used immediately to stop the fire from getting to an uncontrollable stage.

And that is why it is necessary to get a fire extinguisher, keep it in your houses, offices and companies should there be a case of fire outbreak, you can always use the extinguisher before the fire fighters comes.

Note that we have different types of fire extinguisher and they are all used for different kinds of fire outbreaks, we have the water extinguisher, the foam extinguisher, the carbon 2 oxide extinguisher, the powder extinguisher, the water mist extinguisher, and lastly we have the wet chemical extinguisher.

So they are all fire extinguisher that fight different clases of fire outbreak. It is advisable to go to the market and get a fire extinguisher of your choice should in case of eventuality.

• THE FIRE TANKER

The fire tanker is also an equipment used by the fire brigades to put out fire that is beyond the power of the fire extinguisher. It is used most especially for emergency, building with tall stories can also call the fire tankers to put off a fire from distance.

It is used to fight uncontrollable fire that is beyond the capability of fire extinguisher and the tanker is filled up with water which can work well to put off a building that has been caught up by fire.

• FIRE FIGHTERS - The fire fighters are trained men with valour. They save lives that have been captured in a building by a outbreak, people who do not have escape route and who can not go into the fire will have to wait for the fire fighters to come.

The fire fighters have special equipment which they put on to resist the fire from getting their bodies and as such they can get into a fire to save lives and property without being set ablazed by the fire.

• FIRE BLANKET - This is another way of stopping a fire from getting to the room top of a housr or a building. The fire blanket is always used when the fire extinguisher is absent.

Getting a blanket to cover the area wire the fire has just began is important as this will help to put out the fire immediately.

Any blanket will do. Cases of a fire outbreak especially in the kitchen as a result of hot oil or spark, the blanket can be used to resist the fire and if possible, stops the fire totally from causing damages.

• BUCKET - This is a case where we often see a bucket place near a soil e.g sandy soil. The bucket is used to fetch the sand and pour it into the affected area of a fire outbreak.

The bucket is placed there for emergency whenever there is a fire incident in a designated resettlement or a working place. It is used when water is absent and hence, the it faster in putting out fire immediately.

CONCLUSION

_{Fire outbreak is a dangerous situation which can claim lives and properties in minutes, so it is expected of us to do the needful, get fire extinguishers from the market in other to prevent fire incidents in our society. We all are expected to have the numbers of the fire emergency services should in case there is a fire outbreak anywhere near us.}
