SEC S5W6: My Bestie

Greetings steemians,
Welcome once again to my blog. It is a great privilege to write on this unique topic titled My Bestie. Everyone in life has a friend and most of these friends are friends indeed. On this special occasion, I will be discussing one of the most important friends in my life. I do hope you will enjoy reading my blog today.

Most times, we tend to call everyone we come in contact with a friend or bestie, but the truth is that your bestie is someone with who you share things and also advise each other. As a guy, I'm always reserved and for that reason, I hardly keep much of a friend. I will be discussing a friend I recently met.

The bestie I wish to share with you all today is @dave-hanny. When I came to Nasarawa state for my youth service in October 2021, I met this pretty young lady as we were posted to the same place for our primary assignment. On that very first day of our encounter, she was wearing a hill and couldn't walk faster, so I gave her a helping hand and then after a while I discovered that our offices are neighbours to each other.

What attracted me to her was her seriousness and consistency. Every time I'm sent to her office, I see her very busy always trying to achieve something before the day ends. Seeing this, I felt she will be good also in the steemit platform hence I decided to introduce her to it and I also guided her for a while and I always tell her to ensure she drops at least a post each day.

In essence, I have known this lady for about 11 months now and I must confess she is very amazing and dedicated as well. She always asks about my welfare to be sure that I feel comfortable since I'm in a strange land. Less I forget, she is from Nasarawa state and for that reason, she goes to work from her parent's house. She doesn't need to bother herself with what to eat because the provisions are made by her parents.

I'm comfortable being around @dave-hanny because she has some unique qualities which I too admire so dearly. She is a very serious-minded person and always ready to adapt to new changes. She has no idea about cryptocurrency when I met her but immediately after I spoke about it with her, she decided to make her research and also ask me questions that she is not clarified.

In essence, she is very inquisitive and also ready to learn something new. She is also a very dedicated Christian and to be frank, she always reminds me about church activities almost on daily basis. Through her, I have been able to go back to the many activities I have been skipping in the church because she has the timetable for all my activities and she calls always to remind me of them.

One thing I'm certain we have in common is consistency. She is always very consistent and she doesn't procrastinate no matter what situation she finds herself in. She has a timetable for all her activities and that includes writing one or more articles daily. Even when she doesn't see any form of support, she continues and that is a part of the lesson I'm so happy she learnt on time.

Besties are good friends who always try to see that you are comfortable and that you don't have anything disturbing you. Whenever you are in any difficult situation they tend to profile solutions to your worries. I have had a coup of friends during my life journey and @dave-hanny is the friend I met recently who I can call my bestie. I want to finally invite my friends @goodybest, @josepha and @fredquantum to also join the contest.
