God I thank you for giving me the gifts of life to see everyday in my life. I will also like to thank my fellow steemians who has been consistent most especially my fellow steemians from Ghana. I will like to thank steemit team for bringing such an initiative. I will also like to thank thank hot.news administrators and moderators for bringing up such a contest. Today is another opportunity for me to share with you my home sweet home.
Last week contest in
@hot.news community I wrote about my favorite traditional wears. Where as I wrote about Ashanti's favorite traditional wears because I am an Ashanti. I wrote many things about that fabric that i can't go into details because of time. The first in life that everyone in search for is food. Food is something that you can't do any with. And after food clothes, and another important thing that you can do away with is house or where someone will sleep. And it is great opportunity to write about my house (home sweet home). I am Sarkodie Eric, I come from Bonkrong in Sekyere central in Ashanti Region of Ghana. In my home town there are two houses, the one which built by our ancestors. And the one which was built by my late grandmother. I the one which was built by my late grandmother is what I to talk about.

The name of my house is Konadu Memorial house, the house was named after my late grandmother. Who died around in the middle of 2006. She started the house and built it about Eigty-five percent of the house before she passed out. It is not all that expensive house. The house is about twenty-five years old. The house is boys quarters, it has four bedrooms, one living room, one bathroom, one toilet, and one store room. The kitchen was later on build to attached the building and because of that the kitchen is not found inside the house. The house have burglar proof to protect the house for thief and robbers. The house have wooden doors with wooden windows since it is a little older.

There are five rooms in the house the one that is was given by my grandma to my mother is the one in the third counting from the right. And it's second counting from Left. And because of that I spent most time in that room, sometimes with my computer or television. And is seems like we have three television in the house and one refrigerator in the hall since no one is there. What makes the house unique is that it has large compound that we have planted alot of fruit in the compound.
