Hello guys welcome to this week edition of FAQ steemit that I will be making my entry on, which is a contest organized by @fantvwiki in the hot news community
In my entry I will be discussing the things that makes steemit platform different from other social media sites, how to acquire and earn tokens on the steemit platform, difference between curation and author price and lastly some of the things which are not accepted on the steemit platform.

INTRODUCTION
Being a newbie in the steemit platform sometimes is always very frustrating and confusing because you won't understand some of the frequently asked questions on steemit, which is after the newbies might have been able to understand some of this questions only then will they be able to enjoy their stay on steemit.
HOW DOES STEEMIT DIFFER FROM OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA SITES? Explain in a few paragraphs.
Steemit is a blockchain that pays their writers, publishers and authors a reward which is in form of steem coin, steem power, SBD and Tron(TRX), and also has a set of team which monitors the affairs of the system in other to maintain the flow of the blockchain and some set of curators who makes a post to have value through curation trail.
In the steemit platform there are so many communities of your choice which you can subscribe to and publish you quality post to get vote from other Steemians and support from curators.
HOW TO GET DIGITAL TOKENS ON STEEMIT? Explain in a few paragraphs.
The only way which as a Steemian that you can get digital tokens from on the steemit platform is to publish articles on the platform either on a community or your own personal blog to obtain upvote from other Steemians and support from curators, and after seven days your post will payout and you will claim your steem token and steem power.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A CURATION PRIZE AND AN AUTHOR'S PRIZE 🏆?

This is a voting system in which members / Steemians leaves a trail vote on other Steemians post as a form of support

WHAT ARE CURATION TRAIL'S? BENEFIT OR HARM.
This is a process or a system in which a Steemian join forces with a community to vote on his or her behalf which will grant them a better chance of getting bigger curation rewards
IS ANYTHING STRICTLY PROHIBITED ON STEEMIT? Explain some of them.
The number one thing which is prohibited and certainly not accepted on the steemit platform is plagiarism which is the process of copying some other person's work without permission and giving proper reference and another thing which is not acceptable on the steemit platform is self voting so please abstain from it
CONCLUSION
When talking of curation the only way to receive it is to publish quality post that is free from plagiarism and is properly arrange with good citation and lastly please do not practice self vote because it is not accepted on the steemit platform*.
