Greetings and welcome to my blog, how's everything going, hope you're all doing great. Thanks to @cryptoloover for organising this beautiful contest. Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is commemorated by Muslims oll over the world as a time of fasting, prayer, and introspection. From sunrise to sunset, Muslims fast, forgoing all dietary intake as well as liquids and other necessities. A meal called iftar is served to break the fast every day around sundown. In order to develop self-control, compassion, spiritual development, and empathy for those who are less fortunate, people who fast are encouraged to do so.

Tell us about your ongoing fasts in Ramadan?

Ramadan is the holiest month for us muslims, the Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said, when Ramadan begins, the gates of heaven are opened, the gates of hell are closed & the devils are chained. Allah (SWT) revealed the first words of the Quran, to Mohammed (SAW) during this month on a night known as Laylat ul Qadr / The Night of Power.

We muslims fast from sunrise till dusk each day during the full month of Ramadan. It is intended to be a period of spiritual discipline, including prolonged prayer, increased compassion and giving, and serious Quran study. It is also a time for in-depth reflection on one's relationshiip with Allah.

Fasting has many spiritual and charitable benefits, includiing serving as a constant reminder of our need for Allah's provision & our own human frailty, as well as a means of teaching us compassion for the underprivileged and inspiring us to help them. It also helps us to focus on our relationshiip with Allah by removing life's distractions.

How many days are left of Ramadan and what is the expected date of Eid Ul Fitr?

Ramadan is a lunar month that can be 29 or 30 days long, depending on when the moon is visible. Different countries and regions may have different dates for Ramadan's finish and Eid Ul Fitr's start.

Eid Ul Fitr is often observed on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal, which comes after Ramadan. The anticipated date of Eid Ul Fitr can change by area depending on the moon's sighting. Eid ul Fitr is anticipated to be observed on April 21 or 22. We celebrate Eid when the Pakistan's Hilal Committee makes its announcement because I'm from Kashmir.

What are you going to do to make your eid special?

Well, I'm hoping to make my Eid memorable by spending time with my loved ones. We're considering having a little gathering at our house so that everyone may share some traditional food. As part of Eid, I also wish to give to charities and assist people in need. I also anticipate donning new attire and adorning our house with lights and flowers to create a joyful mood. In the end, I want to make the most of this important event by engaging with my culture and traditions and doing what makes me happy.
