I've been like this as far as I can remember. My mom always said I was a pain when I was a child, as I always wanted things to be "organized."
My biggest learning curve was running my own businesses. If you cannot prioritize, you are going to fall behind. Often, it is the downfall of smaller businesses.

As for those jokes... it is different when you write than in real life. (•ิ‿•ิ)
