INTRODUCTION
Death is indeed inevitable, Today in Uyo Akwaibom state the weather this morning is so bright with a shining sun. Mum Ekatte Will be laid to rest by The Seventh-day Adventist church uyo Akwaibom state. And I was there as a church member reporting live at (SDA)church uyo iya street by Abak road.
The Arrival of the corpse
As at 8.00am at dot the family members, well wisher and church members were already seated waiting for them to come back from mortuary. At 9.15am they arrived the church premises . The women ministry of the church carried the corpse to where it should be as the church does not accept corpse to be inside the church.
The choir
The SDA church choir Uyo branch dressed in black and orange colour baret and morflar they sang a very good touching song that is tittled(JESUS IS COMING AGAIN) After the song the officiating minister which is the first elder of the church announced the an offering for the briefed family.
The next thing was the biography by the family, church and the first son.
The first son's read thus:
He talked about the mother educational background,marital,Social and Christian life and how the mother was diagnosed with colon cancer which she was operated upon at Abuja specialist hospital but the mother couldn't bear the pain as she suffered for the pain for months before she gave up to the ghost on the 24th of February 2023 at her home Ewet housing estate Uyo Akwaibom state. He concluded by giving her mother a farewell massage this moment people's mood changed almost everyone was crying because the woman was a good woman in and out.
Final stage
The church pastor preached for the whole congregation and that was the end, her corpse was taken to Cemetery here in Akwaibom State.

Death is one thing that is inevitable! Death comes when we least expect it, just like what the word of God says " It will come like a thief in the night."
We all have to live a life well pleased to God just as you have mentioned. May her gentle soul rest in peace, that sickness "colon cancer" must be deadly and the pain must be severe that she couldn't endure it.
