Well it depends on the type of crypto coin you want to invest your money into, I know it all risky but because investing in a crypto currency you should have made some analysis or your are directed by someone who can analysis.
Investing in crypto is not just buying a coin and expect to make money from it Just like that.
It's takes some future of some analysis to confirm if this coin is the best to buy now or not you don't have to feel comfortable that as soon as you get the you will start making profit no it takes some time and there's a lot of

What is different between investment and staking in cryptocurrency?

Investing in crypto is much different than staking your crypto.

• Investing In crypto: in crypto you might invest your money today, tomorrow you will start running lost which can last for some time and some time if you invest your money in a kind of crypto that doesn't have future you consider you money gone, investing in crypto sometimes is favourable if you're lucky like I said earlier never invest in a coin you know nothing about it very risky.

• Staking crypto. : when staking your crypto you are being rewarded and you have low risk also you can withdraw your money if you are not interested again, but there are people who are not really interested in listening to coin staking because they don't know you can just decide to save your money there, the reason why people lost their money is because the went and stake in the wrong place.
  But the both are still better is just for you to be careful on What you're doing.

Do you like to stake steem inside and outside the Steemit platform?

Staking your steem token in this platform is preferable and better but outside this platform is not ok with me because I don't trust them.
But I will like to stake my steem here in this platform because I truly believe it secured and I won't advise anybody to stake there steem token outside.

There are many benefits of staking your crypto currency but here I'm only allowed to least three.

• Earnings: you're allowed to earn more reward when you stake your crypto currency the higher the staking the higher reward you gain.
  you can be earning every day, week or month depending on how you make your agreement.

• Low risk: when staking your crypto currency in a better platform you consider yourself a lucky person because your token are well secured for you so you don't have anything to worry about.

• Access to your crypto also you have the access to your crypto currency stake, and you can withdraw them anytime you wish to without bordering anyone.

conclusion

crypto is one of the best place to invest your money but there's a lot of risk involved infact it 5050 either you gain or lose.
but people are really cashing out in crypto especially those involved in buying and selling
