Sonargao with friend Naymur
Hope you all are well. By your prayers and by the infinite mercy of Allah Ta'ala, I am also well. Today I am here with a beautiful post on everyone's favorite community. What I will discuss before you today is our Sonargaon Museum in Bangladesh. So friends, let's discuss today's important topic before you without delay.
In many parts of our Bangladesh there are some ruined Istup or townships of the 19th century. One such town was ruled by the Muslim Empire in our Bangladesh in the 19th century. Sonargaon is located on the northern side of Dhaka, the capital of our Bangladesh, i.e. 30 km north of Dhaka. Sonargaon has many things from the 19th century that we need to know.
Sonargaon was named after Sona Bibi, wife of 19th century King Ishakha. In Sonargaon, there are various types of raja used or tabla ektara dotara sitara etc. all are kept here in the museum. This Sonargaon is located in Narayanganj on the other side there is Panam city which I have read in my history book. As you all may notice, there are many old artifacts and various objects. My friend and I decided in the morning to spend a day visiting this museum. So one day we made time to go to the museum.
It takes only one hour to go to the museum from Narayanganj. Friends, you all know that these museums are considered tourist attractions. Foreign tourists also come to visit these places of interest in Bangladesh. One of the reasons tourists visit is to learn more about history. A famous port of Sonargaon was the Shitalaksha river ghat. Sonargaon is known from medieval Greek and Roman sources as Muslim sarees and weaving. They used to travel to different places by sea to sell them.
On the other hand we see some instructions on the wall, these are the 19th century muslin saree factories of some businessmen which are on the verge of destruction. We read in the text that a muslin saree will easily pass through a hole as small as a needle. So consider your income and see how soft and supple all those sarees were. The saree woven in gold is still famous. We see a number of woven sarees in the museum which are hung on the wall with gluach.
So I also my friend we travel there in the morning and reach there. After reaching we had some breakfast, after breakfast we roamed around there for a while. Then we entered the museum and went to the museum and saw some artifacts of weaving there. A number of idols are placed there which are engaged in the work of idol weaving. Sarees manufactured by the textile industry were produced in large quantities during this period. Then we entered the two floors of the museum and saw that Zainul Abedin had several practical things in the two lockers.
Zainul Abedin painter Shilpacharya was actually a police officer by profession. He was a principal of Narayanganj Arts and Crafts University before our Bangladesh became independent. Sonargaon Museum was established in our Narayanganj with the efforts of painter Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin. At Sonargaon museum we can still see several artifacts which are very strong structures. The ticket to enter the Sonargaon museum is only 50 taka and on the other hand the ticket price of Bara Sardar's house is 100 taka.
Friends, this was a small post that I discussed before you. Hope you all like it health and well wish you all stay well.
