Greetings to you and happy New week to you. Indeed I feel so much happy seeing you reading through my post, for without you as my reader my post is meaningless. Today in this post, I have discussed about the type of music characteristics of my dear country Nigeria and so many other things in regard to the contest that was organized in Hot News Community.

Music is one of thing that enters through our ears and passes through our body like the blood that flows within our veins. This is the reasons as to why I often classified music as a lustrous light that makes us feel happy at a particular moment. Let's get to see the type of music that is characterize in Nigeria.

What type of music is a characteristic of your country that is played or listened to a lot? Describe this.

In Nigeria there are a lot of music that are played or listened to a lot. Nigeria music are link to the country diverse ethnic groups, religion, lifestyle and also base on what is trending in the country. However, each of these types of music has they own instruments, skill and melodies. Today, in Nigeria the most popular type of music that is played or listened to millions of Nigerians are; Christan music, Hip-hop music, Highlife, Afro-Beat and Reggae music.

Let's take a look at the characteristics of some of these music.

As for the Christian Music, it is the type of music that express our faith in the Trinity and as a means of Thanksgiving, praise, worshipping and giving glory to God Almighty. One of the characteristics of the christian music is to encourage and motive christian's in their walks with God both in faith and in truth.

Hip-hop music in Nigeria, hip-hop music is the type of music that is loved by the youths and it's also known as rap music. Hip-hop music in Nigeria are more of lifestyle trend such as slang, mindset and clothing which might be one of the reasons that is loved by 85% of Nigeria youths.

Highlife, Afro-Beat and Reggae music are also popular type of music in Nigeria that are mostly played and listened by people that are more of ages like people between 50years and above.

Explain the beauty of this music and the reason why this music can attract visitors to listen to it?

Just as I have earlier said, music is a lustrous light that makes us feel happy at a particular moment. This is what makes music to be beautiful. Music is very beautiful in such a way that whenever one tend to get a rough times, music can carry that person through the darkest of night and which is the most reason as to why most people love playing music before going to bed and even at their sleep.

Music is very Beautiful as it help us to deal with situation that we cannot control or bear towards the things we aren't ready to see or face. Music play a very powerful role in our life because it doesn't just pass information to us. The fact is that we played or listened to music so we can ignore most of the things that is disturbing us. This is where the beautiful of music comes in again, since it holds the key to the tears that we cannot cry out 😭 loud on our own.

Music help to calms us down whenever we feel that we are bord and cannot do things anymore at that particular moment that things may seem not to be going well. Well, still talking about the beauty of of music it all depends on individual concept on the type of music that is loved by the person.

One of the beauty ❤️ of chrinstain music in Nigeria it brings christain brothers and sister to walk in God and most especially at the time when things seem to be going rough, the melody of christain music when you played or listened to it will guide you through the darkness to the light that lies at the end of the tunnel (i.e darkness) that you think you are passing through.

If I should keep on discussing about the beauty of music I may end up writing a words that is more than what is required for me to write, but the fact is that music is just like armour that tend to give us hope in life. Do I just say hope? Oh!! yes, I did and I mean it because I know how beautiful music is to me.

I am a lover of rap music which I will say is also a hip-hop music, but not the types of hip hop music that we have today in the world. Well to cut the story short, I loved rap music like that of 2pac and Eminem. There are some 2pac music that I love playing/listening to that protect my mind from getting worry about most of the things that I can't control myself. You can see how beautiful music is now.

In a nutshell, the beauty of music is very powerful as it gives us hope and confidence towards most of the things that seem to be disturbing us.

Well in Nigeria the music that I think can attract visitors to listen to it is the chrinstain music. Nigeria chrinstain music is a type of music that is composed with a very nice lyrics and beat to make everyone feel the present of God.

In Nigeria it's the only type of music that is mostly sing in different languages such as; English, HAUSA, YOUROUBA, IGBO Fulani languages and many others.

Are there any similarities between your local music and other parts of the world?

Yes there are a lot of similarities between my local music and that of other parts of the world in such a way that there is no much different. One of the similarities between my local music and that of other countries is the dance and most of the instruments that are used in playing the music.

Highlife music in Nigeria is one of the music that is very similar to that of other countries like American jazz and Ghanaian music. The music have the same similarities with other countries and the stylized that is used in the music is similar to that of pop music that is play in other countries.
