Steemit Engagement Challenge Season3 Week #3 |My Pets by @jasminemary
Hello Steemian
Greetings to you from @jasminemary and welcome to my post today. In this post I have discussed about my pets. Pets are those animals that we keps as companion in our home. As for me I have a pet that I kept as companion. In this post you are going to see the pet.
What is the breed and name of your pet? Describe this.
The name of my pet is called Buddy. Buddy dog Is the name that is given to my pet. Buddy is a very smart dog that love eating much and is regarded as a white man dog because of how chubby buddy is which you can see from the image below.
Biddy is just 1 year and 3monthe old, but has grown so big because. However, buddy is a foreign dog that can grow anyhow. The characters of buddy is very simple as it doesn't bark at people that much, except for those that coming into my father compound with danger on they hands. Buddy is a very friendly dog that loved playing around with children.
Explain about your activities with your pets including grooming, feeding, animal health care and others as interesting as possible.
My activities with buddy is basically, preparing meal for Buddy to eat for the day and playing round with the dog once in a while. However, I love taking buddy out whenever I am walking around my street buddy is usually walking side by side with me.
What I normally do is to put chain on buddy neck and start walking around with it. The reason for the chain is for buddy not to harm someone most especially children and for buddy not to start chasing people fowls.
As a lady at home in the mix of guys, my activities with buddy is cooking food for buddy to eat. Anytime buddy food has finished, my brothers will notified me and I will cook for buddy delicious meal and sometime I do serve buddy food to eat whereas sometimes my brothers are in charge of that.
Explain your knowledge about animal diseases that can be transmitted to humans (eg rabies and others) from your pets and what steps you take to prevent and deal with them.
There are several types of diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans. Diseases like Ebola which is one of the deadly diseases that is gotten form animals bones like bats.
Another animals diseases that can be transmitted to humans is the diseases that is called Lassa Fever. Lasser fever is the type of diseases that humans get infected through food or household etc when they are contaminated with the urine of affected Mastomys rats.
Ringworm is also a transmitted diseases that is transmitted from animals to humans like dogs and cats and it's caused by a fungus.
Rabbie is another dangerous diseases that is mostly found in wild animals like bats, foxes, skinks and racoons. Rabbie can be transmitted to our pets if they mixed themselves with affected animal or enter into a pit and once they are affected with rabbie it can be transmitted to humans.
Finally, Zoonotic diseases is another transmitted diseases that can be transmitted to humans. Zoonotic diseases can easily be transmitted from animals to humans of there's too much closeness with infected animal.
