Today I will make my first post on the community and the title of the post is Citizenship is permanent and it is being organized by @saintkelvin17. So it get down to business.

Share your understanding on Citizenship

With my own understanding citizenship is a legal status that has to with some specific rights, responsibilities and privileges upon individuals in a state or nation. It has to do with a sense of belonging and identity of a particular state or nation, as well as the acknowledgment of laws and duties associated with being part of that particular community.

How can one become a citizen of a country? Explain one way.

There are some many ways, one can become a citizen of a particular country some of them includes:-

• BY BIRTH

• BY NATURALISATION

• MARRIAGE

• HONORARY CITIZENSHIP

• DUAL CITIZENSHIP

• CITIZENSHIP BY ADOPTION AND

• CITIZENSHIP BY DESCENT

For me aside from becoming a citizen by birth, One of the common way for someone to become a citizen of a country is through naturalization because individual might have been in a particular state or country for a specific period, often ranging from several years to a decade and have been participating on every activities that a citizen could do.

Explain 3 duties of a citizen

Being a citizen of a particular country or state the are some responsibilities you will have to contribute to the betterment and welfare of that society.

Here are some key duties of a citizen in a state:-

1. Obeying the Law: Citizens are expected to obey the rules and regulations of their country. This ensures social order and promotes the well-being of the community too.

2. Participating in Civic Duties: As a good citizen it is important for you to always participate in civic activities, like voting in elections and doing others community services too.

3. Paying of Tax: It is a dutie of the citizen to pay tax as a citizen because it help the state to provide revenue for some services like building of the public school, hospitals and good roads around the state.

Steemians are citizens of steemit, what makes someone a steemian?

Base on my own point of view what makes a steamian a citizen on steemit is that after completing their registration on the platform the person will have to write his or her Achievement 1 post on Newcomer community which has to with his introduction on steemit and when the Achievement is be verified and the people has fully become a citizen of Steemit.
