Yes I'm actually a lover of ornamental plants and the reason why I like them is because of the beauty it makes the environment looks really beautiful I can still remember when I was in secondary school when we were applying for post in school I applied for the post of ornamental prefect which I won and i was actually the one taking care of the plants i the school and the main reason why I like it is because Ornamental plants are often chosen for their beauty, colors, textures, and shapes, adding visual interest to indoor and outdoor spaces an I find tending to ornamental plants to be a relaxing and therapeutic hobby, which do help me reduce stress and promote overall well-being.
Again is that bringing ornamental plants into living spaces allows me to feel more connected to the natural world, even when in urban environments and some ornamental plants have air-purifying qualities, which can improve indoor air quality and contribute to a healthier living environment.
Share the three types of ornamental plants you have, and leave a review about the three ornamental plants.
First is Caricature-plant: this plants is a tropical shrub with bright, variegated foliage of chocolate and cream color.
Second is Copperleaf plant, this plants is one of the beautiful plants that is a popular outdoor plant used for ornamental cultivation deu to it's brightly colored leaves.
And third is Peace lily this plant is a perennial herbaceous plants that has pure looking shiny dark green foliage you can see in the image I added below.
Is there a type of houseplant you want that you don't have? Give us a little bit of that information.
Yes I want spider plants around because I really love that plant spider plants whisch is scientifically known as Chlorophytum comosum, are popular houseplants known for their long, arching leaves that resemble spider legs 😊 and they are easy to care for and are excellent air purifiers, making them a favorite choice for indoor.
Spider plants grow tall and slim and have long and thin leaves, these plants have three primary colors green with white stripes, green, and white. They create high, thick, thin shoot with small white flowers that grow into baby spider plant, or plantlets.
Besides the ornamental use, spider plants are accustomed for purifying the air. It can assist in foe cleaning the formaldehyde, xylene and other toxins from the indoor air, thus recommended for enhancing the quality of the air inside buildings.
How do you care for your ornamental plants, share those tips with us. Share some photos of ornamental plants that are in your home.
Now as for the care I take in maintaining my ornamental plants; I don’t over-water my plants because most of them may develop root rot, instead, I always check the moisture content of the soil before watering them I also ensure that my ornamental plants are placed in areas of appropriate light for most plants require bright indirect light while others require full sun, thus, I always keen on their light preference.
Something else is that i do Remove dead branches Especially the ones that are spent flowers to encourage new growth and flowers. as the explanation given indeed, pruning also enhances the circulation of air in the plant thereby reducing the diseases.
I strive to begin pest or disease infections on my ornamental plants early so as to control the situation before it escalates.
Therefore my dear friends if you follow the above said tips that I have shared with you and give your ornamental plants a proper care which they require, I am sure you can have a healthy and ever growing indoor or outdoor garden.
