Steemit Engagement Challenge S3-W1|All About My Job : My Job as a Full time Steemian by @ebuahsang1

Hello steemians good afternoon. I am happy to be here and I am grateful for the Steemit Engagement challenge that has made it possible for us to partake and get to know about interesting communities like this. Officially, this is my first post in this community and I am here to talk about my daily activities.

What are your daily tasks at your place of work or your daily activities?

It is no news that I resigned some couple of weeks ago to become a full time steemian. So when we are to talk about our jobs I will talk mostly about Steemit.
We all know that Steemit is a social media Blogging platform that rewards it's users for creating contents. So you need no particular location before creating a content.

As a full time steemian, these are the various activities I do.

1- Creating Post

One of the Activities I do daily is creating post and not just creating a post but also creating interesting post. To be able to creat interesting posts on Steemit, it requires that we read alot.

In addition to creating a post is engaging. It is very important to try and interact with other steemians. Networking is important.

2- Recruiting new steemians

The second activity I do on the Steemit Platform is recruit and mentor newbies. I consider it an Important Activitiy to the growth of Steemit. In the past 1 week I have been able to e steemians and mentor them till the production of their achievement 1 task. They are @codingherald, @nkwainbryan and @doublett.

What is the biggest obstacle you have ever experienced while doing this activity?

No matter how interesting somethings are, there will always be hindrance to you doing it. It is important that we are able to maneuver through such obstacles.

Getting upvotes and interaction

The purpose of all social media platform is to get engagement and Steemit platform as a social media platform is not exempted. Sometimes creating a post on Steemit is not the issue, the problem is getting valuable interaction and earnings upvotes from the curators. This is usually an obstacle as without upvotes it becomes difficult to keep posting.

However, I have device a strategy of always posting on the topics by the curators like

• The Diary game
• Finance and Technology
• Life style to get juicy upvotes from the curators.

Secondly, collaboration with other steemians, we have recreated a WhatsApp group to increase our engagement both on WhatsApp and in real life.

2- The Dip in crypto currencies

The next biggest obstacle I have faced is the dip in the crypto market recently. This is an experience by all steemians. The dip in the market is making it impossible to be consistent. We have to work triple to get the same pay out we used to get in one week.

What is your greatest hope in the future related to your activities?

1- Increase in the value of Steem

As a full time steemian, there is nothing as interesting to me as seeing Steemit increase in value. I do not only wish for the things to go back to the way they were but to surpass it. Increase in the price of Steem to $100 someday. This is a very realistic dream and I believe it will come to pass

2- Growth of the platform.

Secondly, I hope that the Steemit platform grows to two level of other Platforms like YouTube, Instagram. And one of the ways to make this possible is by creating awareness about Steemit. This is why recruiting steemians is at the top of my agenda on this platform.

CONCLUSION

To conclude, being a full time steemian is a pretty challenging but interesting job. I have always love blogging and being able to blog and earn is great. As I have mentioned, if things get back to normal we will truly enjoy the Steemit platform and we will have more full time Steemians.
