Hot News Contest 15 | My School Lessons
Hello friends and family of this great platform, I feel very fortunate to be among this great set of people, thanks to the steemit blog and the entire steemit team, thanks to this very community for being always active to see the progress of the platform. I am here to participate in the 15th contest which is; My School Lessons. Keep reading down friends and I know you will find it interesting reading.
The funniest, most exciting, and stage where relationships with people around start are the period of schooling from primary school to high school. During that period, one tends to have a lot of friends, a union that lasts for a very long time. After graduating from high school, I could see the difference at the university because, at the university, everyone minds his own business.
When you were in school, what 2 lessons did you like? tell us why you like it.
I am a Nigerian and I am proud to be a citizen of Nigeria. Schooling from primary school, secondary school, and university, there are a lot of lessons learned and out of many of course there must always be the one I will so much like. I was a science student and fortunate enough, I had good teachers, they are not just good but they make sure we learn.
The first lesson I like so much is Chemistry lessons, I developed a love for chemistry as a subject because I had a good foundation in chemistry and each time the teacher comes for teaching, I understand the lesson very fast. Secondly, Physics is another lesson I like so much but unfortunately, the teacher was not jovial at all, he is a stammerer and that gets him angry so easily but even at that, I developed a love for the subject because of the practicals and I enjoy the practicals most times which means I'm carried along at all times.
Also tell us 1 What lesson did you not like? Tell us why you don't like it.
The only lesson I do not like was Mathematics and one of the reasons was because the lesson periods were always in the afternoon which is a very wrong period for maths lessons. Being a science student demands that I should in one way or another love maths but because of the wrong period, I never for once liked it but with time I got used to it anyways.
Is there 1 teacher in your school that you remember very well? why are you so effective?
Yes, I remember my English language teacher, he was so outspoken that whenever he teaches in the class, we love to hear him speak. The more reason we all loved him was the fact that his studies life was in abroad and according to him, they are back to Nigeria for a particular reason. He speaks fluently and gives his best during teaching and by that, the atmosphere becomes very calm to listen. I am very fortunate to have him as my teacher because he has amended a lot of wrongs in the English I speak.
Are you classified as an outstanding or mediocre student? tell me about it.
Yes, I was classified as one of the outstanding students. Ever since I noticed that joy on my parent's faces whenever I am among the best, I kept struggling to be the best at all times and levels. I participate in sports, and In the class, I am always picked among the debaters to represent the class, and with that, I was happy too.
