I welcome you all to my blog once again. For a great while and it has been hectic on me lately, I promise to be consistent once again. As I have promised to be consistent once again. As I have sorted myself out already. I appreciate @cryptoloover for such great consistency in making beautiful contests. Here is my participation.


"What are Main Reasons of Disturbance in Mental Health"


Mental health is really a vital part of personality. Therefore the main reason for disturbance in mental health too, I must suggest some of them.


Depression


Most people who are depressed tend to show attitude which question their mental health. Depression can make some people suicidal, this due to the fact that they do not see the bright side of life. Their mental health has been compromised through various philosophies and some bad experiences they have. It causes a disturbance in their mental health.


Drug Abuse and Smoking


Most hard drugs taken by drug addicts tend to destroy their mental health. They also get so addicted to drugs that they loose focus of their surrounding. They end up turning lunatics and causing social unrest to the society. Hard drugs consumption and drugs abuse can be a major reason for disturbance in mental health.


Bad Events/Bad Experiences


Most People suffer disturbance in mental health due to heartbreak in relationship or had events that occur to them. They could be in form of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. These could cause a disturbance bin mental health of various individuals.


How can we realise that our friend is mentally disturbed? What are the signs?



There are some valuable signs we see when we are mentally disturbed these signs could be really obvious among the populace these are;

Gloomy Countenance: Most people disturbed mentally looks angry and dull when seen. They look bothered and they have a sad countenance due to the fact that they have be overwhelmed by mental disturbance.

Passive Babbling: Most people when disturbed mentally due to hard drugs consumption usually talk cluelessly, babbling things which barely matters. In most cases the are mistaken to be lunatics.

Absent Mindedness: Most people who are mentally disturbed are characterised to have absent mindedness as they think so much, forgetting where they are and events occuring around them. This is a vital sign seen in mentally disturbed patients.


How can we help our friend to maintain the mental health if he/she is mentally disturbed?



We can help our friends to maintain their mental health if mentally disturbed by;

  • Dialogue/Therapy: We can always offer dialogue or therapy session to them, words if exaltation and great support through various approaches.

  • Meditation Routine: Meditation provides enabling environment to relax the brain so much, it gives peace of mind and would certainly enable the victims to get to recover faster and in a shorter time.

  • Music Therapy: Music does really great to the spirit, uplifting the soul and relaxing the brain too. It is a routine the would eventually give gradual mental health to the victims.

I have not experienced any of such cases. I think I have someone who has mental disturbance, he is a really a drug addict, highly addicted to smoking. Most times he has tremors when he carries things. He can barely hold a object without shaky hands.

On an occasion he forgot the food he was cooking and ended up burning the pot black. He was busy with his smoke routine then. Additionally, he has anger issues and on an occasion he stabbed his mother on her palm when she tried correcting him on an activity which he did that was wrong.

Important, he keeps up babbling on how he is a star boy and the greatest who has ever lived, he talks and giggles with himself and most times mistaken for a lunatic.

Conclusively, mental disturbance is really a thread and can be handled through therapy, good sleeping habits, meditation routine and music therapy.
