Travel Stories : Go to the cold city of Takengon, Aceh, Indonesia

Good morning everyone, I want to tell you about my trip to Takegon city or cold city. Why is Takegon called a cold city because there is a cold place on the mountain, as well as the water there is also very cold.

The habit there when in the morning does not take a bath because the temperature is very cold as well as the water, they only wash their faces when they go to school, it's very surprising that it's not the same with me when I hear it from my friends who come from there, they just shower during the day but the weather is still still cold, especially if you go to a waterfall the water makes you shiver.

On a trip that was very far from where we lived, so we stopped several times because our hands were sore, plus there was a small child that we brought with us 2 people so my hands were very sore when carrying the motorbike.

We stopped first to eat because we had not eaten breakfast. After eating we immediately left again and the second stop was to pray dhuhur at the mosque there, the water was also very cold luckily we had prepared all jackets so that it reduced the cold a bit.

I also took pictures of the scenery of our trip which was very scary because the road was very extreme, if we slipped a little we would fall into a very deep abyss, it is not recommended to go here with a motorbike or car at high speed because it is very dangerous, especially if it is raining it must be very foggy here to see the road is very difficult, many do not obey the rules to bring the car slowly hit and some fall into the abyss.

Then we stopped at the gas station to refuel the motorbike and prayed Asr there, while resting for a while, after that we immediately went back, so that we didn't get there late, because here it is the rainy season so it makes our trip very difficult.

After arriving at the same we stopped for dinner there, and tomorrow will continue the journey.We ordered egg fried rice and also hot tea because it was very cold here.
