National Archives Building || Microadventure Contest (Results + II Edition)

Hello, Greetings I am @yoedie and just joined this community. This is my first post, and I'm trying to enter the contest created by @hive111293, and 10% of the rewards are donated to the development of the community.

There is a building in my city Jakarta - Indonesia always attracts attention. It's called the National Archives Building. An old building of European style located in a part of the city that was once the center of government in the Dutch East Indies era. This building was built in the 18th century as the residence of a merchant, who later became the Governor-General of the Dutch East Indies, Reinier De Klerk.

This building has always been the attention of historians because of its majestic and sturdy shape that stands until now. It has many historical stories because the building has changed many functions from residential houses, churches, orphanages, and mining offices to the state archives office.

To visit these historical places, I usually use a motorbike because it makes it easier for me to move from one place to another. But to visit this historic old city area, you can use the train or bus. The location of these old buildings gathered in an area that is easily accessible on foot. In addition, these buildings are on the edge of the highway, close to the train and bus stations.

As a history buff, I always enjoy visiting places like these old buildings. There is always a feeling of wanting to know who, what, why, and how the story behind these buildings. Sometimes I like to think about what life in society was like at that time. Or the people who live and work in the building. This made me interested in history and never get bored of visiting the same place.
