The giant of Africa; so yes i am African and a proud Nigerian
There are a number of things that are unique in my country, but for the restrictions of this contest, i am going to be telling you three things i like the most in my country.
Will list them and tell you more about my points in headings...
LANGUAGE
One thing that excites me particularly is our multi-diverse ethnicity. There are over 520 languages spoken in Nigeria. We have 36 states with capital, each with its distinct language and these single state now with various tribes of still different language, interesting right?

But in all of these, there are three major languages nation wide from these tribes: Yoruba Hausa and Igbo, coined in this combo WAZOBIA; Wa is Yoruba meaning 'come', Zo is Hausa, meaning 'come', Bia is Igbo still meaning 'come'. English remains the official language.
FOOD
Talking about food, my country is so blessed with numerous local dishes. I am quite sure that most of you have heard about Nigeria's special Jollof; made of rice, tomatoes garnished with other spices and condiments then prepared in a special way you can't resist...

Oha soup, Amala and Ewedu, Tuwo, Ekpangnkukwo , Edikanikong and many more.
RICH CULTURE/ TRADITION
I am so proud of my country's rich cultural heritage. History so far back as time itself. Every tribe displays its unique culture in ways of dressing, eating, speaking, also in the way of life.

We have events such as the New Yam festival, carnivals e.t.c
And also masquerades who are seen on ceremonious times, artifacts images preserved in the museum, you should know that we Nigerians are very dotting with our culture and as such, we don't joke with it.
I am so proud of my country
