Vasu Bihar is one of the oldest archeological sites in Bangladesh which I have visited once before. The locals also know it as the step of Narpati and call it by this name. I have visited Vasubihara a few times before. I once shared a travel story with you. A few days ago, Farid Bhai and I went again. Our purpose was to buy trees. But when we went to buy trees there, Vasubihar fell in our road, so we traveled there again. And I have collected some videos, pictures and videos which I have shared with you below.

While traveling I

Vasu Bihar is located in a village called Bihar in Bihar Union, about 8 km west of Mahasthangarh in Shibganj upazila of Bogra district. Most people know the place as Narpati Dhap. We usually call it the steps of Narpati but this place is very old and it is very beautiful to see this place of 8th century.

It is thought to be the ruins of a Buddhist shrine where many artifacts have been found since time immemorial. Excavations have uncovered a number of valuable archeological objects, including bronze statues and terracotta plaques. Which the government of our country has kept very carefully in various exhibition places.

The place was known as the religious school of the Buddhists. During the British rule, the locals called Vasubihar Bhusbu Vihar. At present, Vasubihar is known as one of the tourist spots of Bogra city. Where every day different visitors come to visit with family.

By looking at the pictures below you must understand how beautiful this place is and how many pillars are installed in this place. Which are very old to look at and these were made long ago which are still wonderfully memorable in our country.

The pictures I collected while traveling

I have visited Vasubihar several times. I will travel again later. I really like this place. If you ever come to Bangladesh. Then it would be nice to visit this place. If I have any mistakes, please forgive me. I will come back to you later with a new travel story.
