Hello Steem-Travelers friends! My Trip My Adventure !!!

Thank you to all members of the steem travelers community and respectable stakeholders. This time I want to post about the moments that I have been through in my life. Quite a meaningful moment that I have captured through my phone camera.

In this post I will review my religious tourism trip to the Aceh Tsunami Museum. December 26 was a very important moment for all Acehnese. This is a very sacred moment and filled with sadness.

December 26 is a very historic day for the people of Aceh - Nias in Indonesia. A tragedy of the tsunami that hit Aceh in 2004. Every December 26, Acehnese always commemorate the day the Aceh tsunami occurred.

December 26 is a date that is quite sacred to remember a very terrible disaster in the past. In commemoration of this day, many religious activities are carried out. People perform prayers, remembrance, make pilgrimages to mass graves or visit tsunami relic sites.

In downtown Banda Aceh there is a museum named the Aceh Tsunami Museum. This museum is always crowded by tourists, especially at the momentum of the tsunami warning and the new year. Local and foreign tourists always flock to visit this museum.

The existence of the Aceh Tsunami Museum has become a place of education about the tsunami disaster. Education was provided through a number of documentations of the tsunami that occurred in Aceh. In addition, there are also a number of props/simulations of the Tsunami disaster.

Tourists can enjoy all the facilities provided at this museum by buying an entrance ticket. Entrance tickets are priced at around Rp. 5000/person. In this museum there is also a guide who will guide your journey into this building.

Physically the building, this museum has an architecture and is unique. The building is designed with 3 floors, where the design looks very attractive coupled with a nice interior. This circular circular building is likened to a big wave.

Inside the building there are a number of documentations showing conditions during the tsunami in Aceh in 2004. The journey into this building will pass a bridge that was stolen by splashing water. On the very dark bridge, the sound of people praying could be heard playing through the speakers.

Entering this bridge makes us feel more deeply and feels very goosebumps. The journey takes us to a room filled with rectangular-sized concrete and a monitor screen. This concrete is likened to a tombstone that has a philosophy of death.

Being in this room, you can watch a number of documentations of the Aceh tsunami through an LCD screen attached to concrete and walls. There is also a room with the names of people who have died in the tsunami inscribed. In this room, we will appreciate it more, the sound of people reading the Koran can be heard and there is Allah's writing in Arabic on the roof.

To get to the 2nd floor, I had to enter a circular passage with a circular path. On the 2nd floor I found more documentation in the form of files and movies playing through the monitor screen on the wall. On the floor there are also a number of objects left over from the tsunami.

I saw bicycles and motorbikes that had been damaged. In this room there is also an earthquake simulation tool and there are also displayed a number of sacred items such as the Koran and books. The objects that have been damaged are remnants of the tsunami disaster.

I entered a room full of photos, like a photo exhibition. Photo showing documentation when the tsunami devastated the capital city of Banda Aceh. There are also photos showing a collection of corpses and the condition of the residents in the refugee camps.

After that I went to pass the bridge of hope under which there is a fish pond. At the top of this bridge there are various state flags that have provided donations and assistance to Aceh. I went to get out and headed to the front yard which has a balcony to take pictures.

On this balcony I enjoy the fresh air while contemplating. Visiting the Museum gives us many lessons and education about the tsunami disaster. A place full of bitter memories, tears and sadness.

That's my post this time, hopefully it can be useful and be educational for readers.

Thank you for visiting and reading my post !

This is a photo gallery room, where there is a lot of documentation showing the post-tsunami disaster. There are many bodies on the streets, the rubble of destroyed houses, refugee camp sites, and moments of life after the tsunami.
