Hello friends of steem travelers !!! My Trip, My Adventure ! May you always be in good health and blessed.

In this post I want to review my travel trip to Banda Aceh city during the Covid19 Pandemic at the end of 2021. This trip again took me to visit a number of historical tourist sites. This is my umpteenth trip to the provincial capital.

A journey full of stories always holds a number of memories that I want to share with you. Vacations are quite fun, especially when we enjoy them with friends. Even though the implementation of the covid19 pandemic health protocol was tightened, we were lucky to be able to travel on that day.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of tourist attractions in the provincial capital implemented strict health protocols. In general, the rules at tourist attractions require us to wear masks. The enactment of other regulations also has an impact on the number of tourist visits.

A number of tourist sites limit the number of tourist visits and restrictions on operating schedules. On that day we visited 2 tourist attractions, namely the Aceh Traditional House and a tourist site from the 2004 Tsunami disaster, namely the PLTD Floating Ship. When I was at a tourist location, I explored a number of places that have historical value.

Aceh Traditional House Museum

This aceh traditional house is located not far from downtown Banda Aceh. Even geographically, the location of this tourist spot is near a number of other tourist locations such as the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, the Tsunami Museum and the Blang Padang Field.

This tourist location is on Jl. Sultan Mahmudsyah No.10, Peuniti, Kec. Baiturrahman, Banda Aceh City, Aceh 23116. This place is an education about the history and culture of Aceh. At this location there are a number of buildings that serve as museums for the development and civilization of Aceh's culture.

Inside this museum you can find a number of antiques and relics during the war period. This house is a traditional Acehnese house that is designed with meaning, philosophy, and artistic value. This house has many pillars that can support the house firmly.

This building has 3 floors, where in the house there are a number of arts, crafts and antiques. Inside the museum there are also books that explain the history of the Acehnese nationality, which shows the identity and identity of the Acehnese people. There are also weapons of war used during the Dutch colonial period.

On the side of this traditional house I was interested to see a number of photos on display. This is a photo exhibition vehicle that shows about art, where there are photos of animals, plants, crafts, lighting tools and Aceh war weapons. I stand in this corner to capture my moments at this tourist location and art photo exhibition area.

During the implementation of the health protocol, every tourist must wear a mask when in this tourist location. The guards apply strict rules and always control every visitor. They are always on standby and take action against visitors who do not comply with the rules.

Tsunami Relics Ship Rides

This is a tourist spot left over from the tsunami disaster which is full of historical value and joy. This floating ship was stranded ashore when the tsunami disaster in 2022 brought it up to a distance of 5 kilometers. This is my umpteenth visit to this tourist spot.

I am very happy to visit this place, because there are many stories and history of the tsunami that I always want to see to remember this heartbreaking disaster. Inside the ship's room there is an education room that presents the tsunami disaster. This ship is very large and has destroyed a number of houses in its path while being carried by big waves.

In this area you will be transported back to the past in 2004, where you can witness firsthand the destroyed buildings and houses. While on the boat, I wanted to try to use those very large binoculars. Binoculars that can see up close the view of the city of Banda Aceh.

When visiting this tourist location, tourists are required to first wash their hands using soap and hand sanitizer. This tourist location also applies very strict rules, where every visitor must also wear a mask. They also limit the number of tourist visits during the implementation of the Covid-19 protocol rules.

Such is the review of the trip to the location of tourist attractions in the city of Banda Aceh during the implementation of the health protocol. I invite you to obey the rules that apply at tourist sites. The purpose of this regulation is to prevent the spread of the very dangerous COVID-19 virus.

Always protect yourself, increase immunity and stay healthy!!!

@ponpase your post is great.

Flowing the covid19 protocol is for our good especially when visiting such public places like a museum that host people coming from all over the place .
It's good to see what you have made out of the aftermath of the tsunami that hit your are. Instead of trying to carry the ship away, it was converted into an attraction; brilliant thinking.
My sympathy for all the loss you all suffered and especially for the lost of life.
Happy to see that people are still moving on with their life, going for sight-seeing and having some fun activities.
I will love to visit such a rich collection of cultural artifacts some day in the future...
Thanks for sharing your experience with us on steem travelers
