SWAT DISTRICT:

Last winter, I visited Swat valley. Swat District is a very peaceful and serene district located in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. With a population of 2,309,570, Swat is the 15th-largest sector of KPK province. Its area is 5,337 km². It's largest city is Mingora.

VALLEY OF SWAT:

The Valley of Swat is outlined by hereditary thresholds and is centered around the Swat River. The valley is encompassed on all viewpoints by peaks. Overhead mountains ridges to the west is the valley of the Panjkora River, to the north is the Gilgit Valley, and the Indus River is to the east.

Swat is depicted by coarse woodlands along the valleys of the Kalaam Valley until the city of Madyan. From there, the river streams gently through the broader Yousufzai Plains.

CLIMATE OF SWAT:

The climate in Swat is a motive of stature, with mounts in the Kohistan region. The upper ranges of the region are accountable for cold winters. There are calmer climates in the deeper portions of the district in the Yousafzai Plains where summer temperatures can attain 41 °C. Both areas are liable to two monsoon seasons - one in winter and the other in summer. Swats' lower reaches have vegetation illustrated by withered hinterland and deciduous trees, while the upper reaches of the district have deep forests.

SWAT "THE SWITZERLAND OF ASIA":

The British Queen Elizabeth during her call to Swat named Swat “Switzerland of the Asia” due to its topography resemblances and parallels in spectacular magnificence with Switzerland. Moreover, Swat Valley has delightful temperatures and because of that intention sightseers call it “a paradise on the earth”.

MINGORA BAZAAR:

Mingora Bazar is the major corporation junction of swat which is adjacent to Saidu. People around the valley come to the town of Mingora bazaar (Market) for shopping, recreation, and other industry activities.
Mingora has an assortment of restaurants, takeaways, cafes, and western food openings bidding both regional as well as fast nutriment.

KALAAM VALLEY:

Kalam which is also recognized as Kalam Valley is a sub valley of Swat placed at a surge of about 2,000 records above sea level. Kalam is at an interval of 96km of distance from Mingora city. Kalam is one of the leading tourist sites in Swat which has a ton of allures and activities for tourists to get immersed and relish their best life.

MALAM JABBA:

Malam Jabba has located 45 km to the northeast of Mingora in Swat valley. Malam Jabba is a marvelous hill depository, an impressive tourist destination, and dwelling to the very popular Malam Jabba ski resort in Swat. In summer thousands of travelers come to Malam Jabba to rejoice and to take a lofty leisure ride on the chairlift or cable car to see places that otherwise would be arduous to go to.
