Hey Nature Lovers

Hi friend Steem Traveler wherever you are. Greetings Nature Lovers to all of us. Hopefully we are in good condition and continue to be enthusiastic about carrying out our daily activities and I also feel very happy if all my friends take the time to read my post.

This is my first post on the Steem Traveler Community, hopefully you can enjoy the content that I will post on the Steem Traveler Community page. On this occasion I would like to create content about the Steem Camp Event held at Ujung Mepar Beach or better known as Gayo Camping Ceria which is located in Takengon City, Aceh Province, Indonesia.

At the end of last January the PromoSteem Community created an Event called Steem Camp which lasted one day, the PromoSteem Community provided two packages of choice to all participants, then I immediately confirmed to the organizers to take part in this Event.

Exactly on January 29, 2022 on Saturday I prepared my needs to join this Steem Camp. After the midday prayer, I received news from the WhatsApp group that the meeting point was leaving at Cafe Sabri, which is located on Jalan Elak, Lhokseumawe City, then I said goodbye to my parents and went straight to the cafe.

Arriving there, only a few participants who took part in this event came and then we relaxed while waiting for the others to arrive. Exactly at 15.30 Wib we all departed by motorbike, heading to Takengon we passed Jalan KKA. The journey we took was about 3 hours or so to arrive at the campsite when the sun began to set we arrived at Gayo Camping Ceria. During the trip I really enjoyed the fresh and natural mountain air, it felt like all the burdens of my mind were gone.

At night we light a bonfire to warm our body temperature and some of us also burn chicken pieces for our dinner menu. After everyone finished eating and felt full, then Brother @ponpase presented several things related to the steemit platform, while hearing that we also ate roasted corn and grilled meatballs.

The next day in the morning we ate fried rice and omelettes bought around Lake Laut Tawar. After eating I went around the Ujung Mepar Camping area while breathing fresh air in the morning. The scenery around this campground is very beautiful, the panorama of clouds and mountains and lakes is so wide. It is very suitable if you are camping in this place.

Regarding the facilities this campground has 4 toilet doors, 2 for women and 2 for men. This toilet is used without having to pay or free, visitors can use it with satisfaction such as performing ablution, defecating and urinating and bathing. However, in the morning many visitors use it so we have to queue until it is our turn.

This camp also provides a place for prayer, namely a prayer room shaped like a study hall, with a width of 3 meters and a length of 4 meters made of wood. The congregational row consists of up to 5 and 6 people except with the Imam. This prayer room is located not far from the toilet, only a few meters. This makes it easy for visitors to pray without having to go far.

Besides the parking area at the top of the campsite, they also provide a special office for staff who work at this campsite. In this office, every visitor can rent camping equipment such as electric cables and firewood for the campfire and several other items.

This campground also provides a parking space to the north of the campsite, although it looks cramped, but for every camping visitor, all the vehicles they use have a place to park their 2-wheeled and 4-wheeled vehicles.

Regarding the cost for camping, this place is still pretty standard. In the following I will explain the total funds we spent on camping at Ujung Mepar Beach

• Electric Cable Rental : 1 x 25k = IDR 25,000

• One bunch of firewood: 1 x 50k = IDR 50,000

• Tent : 7 x 100k per tent = IDR 700,000

• Number of people : 20 x 25k/person= IDR 250,000

• Number of Motors : 10 x 10k/motor = IDR 100,000

Total IDR 1,125,000 / 18 SBD and 225 STEEM

Honestly, I am very grateful to our organizers for allowing me to take part in this Steem Camp Event, there are many things and experiences that I get and I also get to know each other more deeply. That's my post about the trip to Ujung Mepar Beach, Takengon City. See you on the next trip.
