Hello steemians,
This is my entry for Photo contest - The history - initiated by @hive-111293
Location: Bulgaria
Thracian tomb
It is located in the valley of the Thracian kings. A few kilometers from the town of Kazanlak, Bulgaria.
It is estimated that there are more than 1,500 burial mounds on its territory, of which about 300 have been studied.
The original character of the Thracian tombs is due primarily to their frescoes.
Kazanlak tomb
The most famous of all as in 1979 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The original tomb has been preserved and closed to visitors and a copy tomb for visitors has been built next to it.
It is dated to the end of the 4th century BC - the beginning of the III century BC.
