A few days ago, I visited the museum, which is located in Aceh Besar Regency, which indeed has many interesting stories related to Cut Nyak Dien.
Cut Nyak Dien is one of the Indonesian female heroes who also fought against the Dutch who colonized Indonesia. Cut Nyak Dien is an Indonesian heroine who comes from the city of Aceh. Even though she was a woman, she was known for her very firm stance and courage in expelling the Dutch colonialists from Indonesia. So it's not surprising that there are so many historical traces of Cut Nyak Dien in this city, one of which is the Cut Nyak Dien House Museum.
If viewed from the administrative side, this tour is located in Lampisang Village, Kec. Peukan Bada, Kab. Aceh Besar. If we want to visit this tour, we can use public transportation or private transportation such as motorbikes or cars. This museum is approximately 10 km from the center of Banda Aceh City or about 20 minutes away. Because it is located right on the edge of the highway, it certainly makes it easier for tourists to find this museum. In addition, the condition of the road leading to this museum is also very good, well and paved so that our trip is more comfortable.
When we arrive at this tourist location, you will immediately see a high well in front of the main door. The presence of the well was deliberately created as a barrier so that the Dutch could not poison the water in the well. Wow, what a cool strategy!!
The walls of the building are made of wooden planks and old coconut leaf midrib as the roof of this house. This place is quite spacious and there are many doors that connect one room to another. Inside this house, we can see the family tree of Cut Nyak Dien, wartime collections and other collections related to Cut Nyak Dien.
As usual, when I've been to a place I definitely visit one of the closest food stalls in that place. The goal is to fill an empty stomach of course.. wkwkw
