Hello everyone this is ashik from Bangladesh. I hope everyone well.

First of all, I would like to thank @Steem-Travelers in @hive-111293 for organizing such a competition. They have organized a beautiful competition. We can learn a lot from all these competitions. And I am very happy to be able to participate in such a competition. Each time they have organized a difference competition. Through this competition we will learn about the cultural programs of different countries

Marriage in Bangladesh refers to the marriages held in different parts of Bangladesh and their related rituals. Although marriage is referred to as "marriage" or "marriage" throughout Bangladesh, it is also pronounced differently regionally in different accents, such as: biya or biya (bia) or biha, marriage under the influence or imitation of Hindi language. Henga is sometimes called a mockery of marriage in Sylhet region. The marriages held in Bangladesh, on the one hand, have different religious affiliations, as well as the folklore of this ethnically sovereign region. In all cases, however, marriage is roughly divided into three main parts: yellow on the body, marriage, and bauvat or walima. However, there is a slight difference in the division of this part of the religion.

In Muslim marriages, marriage is taught at home or in community centers by calling Kazi. Kazi, in the presence of both parties, wants to know the consent of the bride and groom and with the consent of both the main formalities of marriage are completed. In Hindu marriages, the priests perform the marriage ceremony by reciting mantras, then holding the fire around it and circling it seven times. Besides, in Hindu scriptures, "divine marriage" also takes place, so that the father of the girl goes to the temple and bears witness to God and gives the girl to her son-in-law. Even in Buddhism, Buddhist monks teach marriage by chanting mantras. Christians get married in the presence of priests in the church. The priest reads the Bible and knows the couple's consent, and the marriage is consummated with their consent.

In many countries of the world, the wedding ceremony ends in a day, but the wedding in Bangladesh is not a day, but never a month. The main event of the wedding is at least three or four days.

Wedding dance editing

In Sylhet, Mymensingh and Rajshahi regions of Bangladesh, a kind of special dance is seen while bathing the bride and groom. Neighboring women organize this dance centering on the bride and groom. They participate in the wedding dance with paddy, durba, pan, kari etc.

I want to talk more about marriage

In our country, marriage usually lasts for 3 days like yellow on the first day, and yellow on the second day.

I am discussing these three days in detail.

  1. Day 1st: In the evening before the wedding in Muslim or Hindu editions, the girl and the boy are smeared with turmeric in the evening. The boys come to the girl's house and apply turmeric and the girls go to the boy's house and apply Hadul. And at night old women sing and dance.

  1. Day 2nd: And on the second day, the bride and groom come to the girl's house and get married. Muslim marriages are taught according to Islamic law. It is said that the marriage is consummated three times while teaching marriage.

  1. Day 3rd: On the third day, the bridegroom goes to the bridegroom's house. On this day, the bridegroom goes to the groom's house, eats lunch and takes the bride and groom to the bride's father's house in the afternoon / evening.

This was the wedding culture of Bangladesh. I hope you all like it. And I also like to talk about the culture of our country. And through this competition we can learn a lot. We will be able to acquire knowledge about the culture of different countries. I hope everyone will be well and healthy.

I have invited three of my friends to participate in this competition: @ab-rafi @ariful2 @siam7
