The High Court Division has the power to review the main case and may hear appeals in both civil and criminal matters.

The Seven Dome Mosque is a mosque built during the Mughal period in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. The mosque is named 'Satgumbuj Masjid' because of its seven domes with four minarets. It is one of the monuments of Mughal period of Mughal Empire. .The mosque was built by his son Umid Khan during the reign of Mughal subaddar Shaista Khan in 180. The mosque is similar to Lalbagh Fort Mosque and Khwaja Amber Mosque.
In Dhaka's Mohammadpur (bus stand) a road leads from Katasur to the Shia Mosque through Banshbari. The seven-domed mosque fell on the way to this road .

Shahid Nurul Islam (Born: Unknown Died: 1971) was a heroic freedom fighter of the Bangladesh War of Independence. For his bravery in the war of independence, the government of Bangladesh awarded him the title of Bir Bikrcity.

The foundation stone of the Shaheed Minar we see today was laid on February 21, 1956. The architect of this Shaheed Minar is Hamidur Rahman.

In 1956, under the supervision of Novera Ahmed and Hamidur Rahman, final design was made and construction of Shaheed Minar was started. Hasina Begum, mother of Bahashahid Abul Barkat, inaugurated the Shaheed Minar on February 21, 1983.Since then, the central Shaheed Minar still stands proudly on the premises of Dhaka Medical College, glorifying the glorious history of the language movement to the Bengali nation.

Every year on 21st February, flowers are laid at the Shaheed Minar and innumerable people pay their respects and love to the language martyrs .
