A week before the holidays arrived, I had been diligently chatting with friends about rafting plans. The easiest way to introduce rafting activities is through YouTube. I searched for YouTube shows with the keyword “rafting for children” and came out a series of videos of children rafting with their families. We watched together some fun rafting videos and showed children's activities on the river.

The rafting activity begins with registration at the Citra Elo base camp. From the base camp we rode a special colt that took the boat to the starting point, which is about 10km from the base camp. At this starting point, we received directions from the guide on how to hold the paddle correctly, instructions to pay attention to while on the river, and so on.

Other entertainment along the way is playing water splashes with other boat passengers. Incidentally, during the long weekend the other day, the Elo river was crowded with rafting participants who came from various cities.

According to our guide's info, during holidays like this Citra Elo can send about 50 boats a day which is divided into two trips, namely morning and afternoon trips. Meanwhile in Borobudur itself there are about 12 rafting operators. Can you imagine how dense it is? Even so, there are advantages for the three of us. You can have fun with other rafting participants.

Rafting guides sometimes make even crazier games, such as deliberately overturning the boat so that all passengers fall into the river. Like what I've experienced when I was with friends from the rafting office in Elo. Even then I was trapped behind an overturned boat in the river. Soooo…!

Our boat docked at the finish point when the sun was directly overhead, around 12 noon. When our stomachs started to get hungry too. After rinsing with clean water (shower), we devoured the lunch that was served.
