The World Is Moving Into Chaos. It Is Really Time To Stock Up On Food.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but, buy food!
There was times when the stores were hiding the empty spaces in the shelves, by stocking whatever they had. You could tell. The cans were stacked one deep. It was just a display. But that sorta cleared up as the system got itself running again after the lock-downs.
But now i am seeing something more permanent. Things are permanently disappearing from shelves. Other things are getting smaller or containing more air space in the package.
Of course this last one is shrinkflation caused by manufacturers trying not to raise prices too fast, however, the first part is more troubling. Like, certain things are no longer available. Just gone. No explanation. Not missing at this store, so try another.
I fear that this is systemic. As their is a problem in the system.
And i believe that this problem is coming for more areas.
On top of that, there are wars and rumors of wars, and all manners of natural and unnatural disasters happening all over.
So, be prepared. Have enough food for your family stored up.
- America's farmlands are mined out
- Trucking is having problems. From lack of spare parts to lack of goods being shipped.
- The growing seasons have not been nice to farmers. Too much rain, or no rain. Early freezes
- USDA going around killing bunches of animals for "reasons"
- Processing plants burning down at unprecedented rates.
- New bug growing farms in strange, off the beaten path, places.
These do not add up to a great food future.
Sure, we have had all of these problems before, but never all at once over a protracted period of time.
- Flooding happening all over the world. Many are predicting the Mississippi to seriously overflow and take out bridges.
- Earthquakes
- Fires (people trying to burn down north america, but its def global warming)
- Tornadoes (took out a pfizer plant… were tornadoes usually do not go)
- Hurricanes (from barely a storm to cat 5 in no time and destroyed Acapulco)
- Volcanoes.
All of these becoming greater in number each year.
Every one of these disrupt food production. And then food shipping.
- War in U-crane. The other bread basket of the world
- War in IsReal?. We might not have the Suez canal for shipping for long.
- Tons of warships in the Mediterranean. This can get seriously bad. Think of, if you are just a little freighter captain.
- Refugees are going to be flooding back to Africa. (mostly through France. This is going to mess up all kinds of stuff)
- WHO is trying to take over the world. Expect calls for more lockdowns.
- China is still preparing militarily for something.
- BRICS is getting more support. Dedollarization is building.
All of these things add up to bad for the flow of goods around the world.
These are also bad for farmers.
All of these things here add up to: There is going to be food shortages, at minimum.
Some places will see famine. Some places will not be able to get food.
I expect rationing and martial law before any of this gets better.
Having some food stored up will save your life when your city becomes a little more fiery than usual. Having reserves to get across a bad spell is great. Usually you just need a few weeks of not going to the store while things calm down.
I would also like everyone to seriously consider homesteading. Being food self sufficient will be the only way in the future.
The first item i listed "America's farmlands are mined out" means we are living on borrowed time. Food production has failed, and can no longer be relied upon. It is just a matter of time now.
Make plans now, while you are not hungry, and you can still order grow lights from China.
