Some Things To Look Forward To In Our Future
Things will be wildly different in the future.
The future utopia and dystopia fiction stories aren't in any way indicative of what the future will be like.
It is not that they aren't imaginative enough, however, we don't continue going that way. So much of our fears and concerns are just not issues. Like bitcoin just makes banks, insurance, loans, investment… obsolete. A future investment advisor will just be a web page (singular), "save Satoshis."
Things will just be… different.
Fiat money is ignored.
There really doesn't come a time when the dollar crashes, well, mostly because there is nothing to crash against. All the fiat just kinda continues to exist, but it becomes more and more irrelevant. Bitcoin (probably) takes over as the thing that things are measured against. I doubt we actually use bitcoin for very long, but we will have side chains and cross chains, and instant swaps.
The reason bitcoin will not be used is that an entire satoshi is a LOT of money. So, we deal with nanoSats, and picoSats. So, bitcoin will be mostly a savings account, and countries paying other countries.
Stock market closes its doors
I doubt that any actual stock is traded on the stock market today. It is all in the hands of someone else, Black-cube, or Cede, or Buffet owns it all. And what we are trading is ghost shares.
And then, all at once, we start finding that out. The stock market might not even crash. It just closes.
Like, imagine Musk decides to actually by all the outstanding shares of X. And so, buys, and buys, and after he has purchased all the shares, people keep trying to sell their shares to him. And keep selling shares…
There was a corporation who short changed people on share price, and they went to court to get a fair price. The judge ruled that they needed to pay the fair price, but there were more shares on the lawsuit, then there were shares outstanding.
Corporations cease to exist
Corporations are evil. Just the structure. Internalizing profits and externalizing costs. This needs to stop.
And what happens is that people, for the most part, just stop supporting the big corporations. No one will buy from a corporation that doesn't care about the environment and the people who work for them.
BigPharma is about to be turned to dust. When the blame that is theirs gets back to them, the corporations will not be able to continue operating. The CEO will not be able to go outdoors. The employees won't have a building to go to. People won't buy their products.
Within about 50 years, the big corporations just aren't there anymore.
Locally produced, green, continuous energy becomes the norm.
It would be easy to implement right now. Just time consuming and expensive.
But if we didn't throw money and windmills bird chopper-uppers we probably could have made significant headway by now.
What changes is the forces that bribe the politicians and city councils, behind the scenes, are found out and exposed. The suppression of technology really comes out into the open, and people demand the new forms of energy.
The controlling things from behind with bribes, just stops. No money and no one dares touch it.
Nations balkanize, all around the world.
Many, many places are just going to fall apart. People of different thought are just going to move apart. People of like mind are going to move together.
So, we will see nations break apart into pieces, and strangely, parts of separate nations come together.
The whole, we need a big navy and army thing will be shown to be false. Both, people learn to start letting them, over there, do what they want, and we, over here do what we want. Tolerance will increase as a human attribute. Further, defensive technology rapidly increases. Sure they have armed robot dogs, but anti-robot-dog measures become super cheap, easy and effective. Like, 1 million dollars a dog vs a trench that takes you a day to dig. robot-dog loses.
America becomes the home of advanced organic food growth
Here is a weird one you might not think of. As BigAg dies, and the whole world is suffering from hunger, regenerative farming really starts to become big in America. And from America, spread to the rest of the world.
All of Billy Gatez' farm land is going to fail. But small farms are going to make a huge comeback and regenerate our soils.
Science throws off the last 100 years of garbage and actually starts making amazing discoveries
This is going to be like a new renaissance. Inventions are going to be popping up everywhere.
We won't be talking about cars that run on water, it will be floating platforms that don't require any fuel, easily float over to where you want them to. (something like that, but probably not exactly that)
The lid that modern materialistic physics has put on everything will be ripped off. And the generation that embraces the new stuff, will make all kinds of innovations.
Universities will go away… because they can't respond fast enough to the changes.
The future is very different than what we consider normal today.
Much like we imagine bitcoin/crypto replacing the financial system, so will other innovations replace other, old, rotten systems.
Many systems will crumble to dust and not be replaced with anything, as we figure out that we don't even need that service.
The future, is just different. (don't expect things to get back to normal for a few decades)
