Everything That Has Been Done in the Name of Green New Energy Has Harmed the Planet.
"How dare you", is what she said.
After she sailed across the Atlantic, in not a sail boat, not a yacht, but a racing yacht.
The two men who sailed the boat to New York were then flown back home. And two other men were flown to New York to sail the racing yacht home.
So, she cost the world four airline tickets, instead of one, so she could say that she got there without burning fuel.
(and what is most perplexing is that the people involved in letting her use the racing yacht could have offered up a dozen ocean worthy yachts, with quite lavish (in comparison) accommodations. Instead of having to shit in a bucket. And put two men's lives at risk if anything untoward were to happen)
Fake Green Energy
Most windmills never pay for themselves. If you take all the energy used to create, transport, install and maintain, these giant monstrosities never pay for themselves. They never create more energy then was used to create them.
Most photovoltaic solar panels are the same. It is only advantageous because we offload a lot of our inflation and pollution on China, making the panels cheap here in the states.
The electric cars are a boondoggle, where they have created more pollution before they hit the show room then a standard ICE does in its entire life. Just look at what happens when the battery goes out in one of these. The replacement battery is often more expensive than the car is worth. How do they sell the new cars so cheap, if just the battery costs that much?
They will not give up control
But this isn't the really bad thing about the "Green Energy" deals.
For this, you must know that the energy providers are a cabal. They seem like separate companies, but they stand shoulder to shoulder to block anyone from threatening their monopoly.
All the "alternative" energy sources they allow are not anything that will threaten them. And, in fact, they can shut it down at any time. (If you put solar on your house, and tie it to the grid, then there is a box on the front of your house where the power company can come and turn it off. And they can lock it off.)
Every alternative they offer keeps you locked into their system.
Every alternative they offer for power generation just makes you pay more for the same electricity. With less reliability.
Now they are even trying to sell atomic energy as a viable alternative again. (the most expensive and dangerous way to boil water that we have invented)
Pricing themselves out of the market
Today it costs so much to plant a bunch of poles and run a powerline to your property, that in many areas it is cheaper to build an entire off-grid solar powered system.
It was really cheap to run power back in the 80s. Now it may cost more than your new house.
And so it goes, they are making it so expensive to stay connected to the grid, that many are leaving, just because it is cheaper.
It used to be the really insane people that would go off grid. Installing 12V lighting systems and adding switches to plugs to turn off the power draining, always on electronic devices. Now, the price of solar panels is way down, and inverter systems have gotten a lot better.
So, it used to be just the guy building a cabin in the woods.
Now it may be the guy next door that has had it with the energy bill, and the power company telling him he can run AC on really hot days.
When i hear the narrative and the counter-narrative about "green energy" all i hear are traps and cages. Keeping you forever within their grasp. Never are you allowed to leave.
Like, they say that electric car will save the planet and save you money.
But now, the electricity to charge costs almost as much as gasoline, and the car costed twice as much. You are back under their control, and you really didn't help yourself or the environment.
Even the "alternative" energies i hear about are the same. Thorium, hydrogen, CO2 converted to gasoline… they are all the same. You will pay them for the energy, if not one way, then another.
However, there are many forms of electricity that are quite effective and quite inexpensive. Green and continuous. They were all discussed back in the 70s, but no energy company has allowed them to see the light of day.
Soon, people will just start ignoring govern-cement, and begin building these.
All those regulations to keep people from energy will be crumpled up and thrown away.
