Learn about the latest developments regarding WaykiChain at the III Forum of the Information and Communication Industry Summit.

First of all, a cordial greeting to the whole academic and scientific community of Hive, on the present opportunity on the WaykiChain breakthroughs, unveiled by Ms. Lu Vice President of WaykiChain at the 3rd Forum of the Information and Communication Industry Summit.

On May 14, the WaykiChain platform held a Digital Economy Talk, in which the Shenzhen Communications Administration (as host) and the Shenzhen Internet Application Technology Association (as co-host) participated in the Third Shenzhen Information and Communication Industry Summit Forum to share excellent news about the BlockChain.

The main theme to be discussed was "Accelerating Digital Transformation in an Era of Challenges". The forum was attended by the three major telecommunications companies (China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom) and leading digital technology enterprises and service units such as Huawei, Tencent and WaykiChain." This was expressed by the parties involved in the project, encouraging all attendees and the general population to focus on "innovation and industrial transformation driven by digital technology and support the industrial Internet trend".

At the Forum WaykiChain Vice President Rui Lu joined, gave the keynote speech expressing the following "Blockchain technology builds a new Fintech system", and witnessed the development achievements of the digitized information industry together with other attendees.

Likewise Ms. Lu expressed that, "In its journey from the end of 2017 to today, WaykiChain has experienced various industrial changes in blockchain, communication and fintech. It became not only a leading third-generation commercial public blockchain, but also a great promotion effort for the reconstruction of the fintech system."

He also stated that, "In this field, WaykiChain has remarkable results. It has created a DeFi blockchain system on the proprietary third-generation commercial public blockchain. After several technical iterations, the system has high-performance transaction processing (average over 4,500 TPS), a highly efficient consensus mechanism (DPoS + pBFT), a powerful smart contract engine (Lua + WASM) and decentralized ecosystem governance."

Among the announcements made Ms. Lu states that "In 2021, WaykiChain enters a critical development period. We will continue to follow the new technology trends in the industry and combine advanced blockchain technology with real-world needs to provide more and better digital economy solutions and drive digital transformation."
