Food Photography Challenge - Week 17
Milk rice is a traditional Sri Lankan dish made with either red or white rice and coconut milk. It is a national dish in my country and is made at every celebration. Milk rice is a symbol of good fortune, property, and blessing in Sri Lanka and is an important part of the Sri Lankan culture.
This is a very simple dish that anyone can prepare. I'll explain how to make it for your convenience.
First, wash the rice and place it in a rice cooker with the water. Then add salt and cook until the water is absorbed. Then add 1/4 tea spoons of salt to the coconut milk and place it in the rice cooker. Cook until the coconut milk has been absorbed into the rice. You can now cut it into any shape you want.
