Have you ever seen this plant?
Today, while strolling outdoors, I inadvertently discovered a rather inconspicuous plant. It was quietly growing there. At first, from a distance, seeing its large flower disk, I immediately thought it was a sunflower. With curiosity and anticipation, I slowly approached this plant. But when I got close and observed it carefully, I found that it was quite different from a sunflower in many ways. This really piqued my curiosity. So, I specially looked it up. Only then did I learn that it is an echinacea.
Echinacea is a perennial herbaceous plant. Its flower has a unique shape, with a protruding center like a pine cone and bright petals surrounding it. Commonly seen colors are purple, pink, white, etc. Echinacea has certain medicinal value and contains multiple active ingredients. In traditional medicine, it is often used for enhancing immunity and reducing inflammation. At the same time, it is also a flower with high ornamental value and is often used in the layout of garden landscapes, adding a bright color to the environment.
