Expectations on the food truck
Today, unexpectedly, at the intersection near Mississippi and Havana in Aurora, I came across a unique food truck. The "Asadero Goyo" barbecue food truck is particularly eye-catching, with Venezuelan flags planted all over it, fluttering in the wind. On the charcoal grill beside the truck, barbecued meat and fruits are skewered on sticks, emitting a tantalizing aroma that permeates the air.
Although it's not the weekend, there are still quite a few people gathered here. Some are waiting in line, and some are already sitting at the table enjoying the food. I curiously looked around and saw that many cars are hung with Venezuelan flags. It must be that they are all Venezuelans.
I heard that the Venezuelan traditional street snacks, Picadillo Llanero (meat and potato soup) and Cachapa (fried corn pancake with fillings), are very authentic. Although I haven't tasted these delicacies yet, just looking at this lively scene and the enticing aroma fills me with anticipation.
