"বাংলাদেশে ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিত্রাং আঘাত হানতে যাচ্ছে" - নিউজ চ্যানেলগুলোতে আবহাওয়ার পূর্বাভাসে এই সতর্কবার্তাই দেয়া হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের উপকূলবর্তী এলাকাগুলোতে বিশেষ সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে এবং সবাইকে নিরাপদ স্থানে আশ্র‍য় নিতে বলা হয়েছে। তবে আমি যেখানে বসবাস করি, মানে দিনাজপুর জেলা থেকে ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের প্রকোপ বোঝার কোনো উপায় নেই। যদিও আজ আকাশ মেঘলা ছিল। সন্ধ্যায় গুড়ি গুড়ি বৃষ্টি হচ্ছিল। তবে যারা উপকূল অঞ্চলে বসবাস করেন তাদের দুর্ভোগ পোহাতে হচ্ছে আজকে থেকেই। কালকে হয়তো ঘূর্ণিঝড় আরো শক্তিশালী হয়ে আঘাত হানতে পারে। আল্লাহ সবাইকে নিরাপদ স্থানে থাকার তৌফিক দান করুক।

"Cyclone Sitrang is going to hit Bangladesh" - this is the warning given in the weather forecast on the news channels. Special alert has been issued in the coastal areas of Bangladesh and everyone has been asked to take shelter in safe places. But where I live, means there is no way to understand the cyclone outbreak from Dinajpur district. Although the sky was cloudy today. It was drizzling in the evening. But those who live in coastal areas have to suffer from today. The cyclone may hit stronger tomorrow. May Allah grant everyone a safe place.
