My youngest daughter said she was very happy with what she did...
Hello everyone.
How are you? Yesterday was Tuesday, the kids went to school for another day. Tomorrow is a public holiday because it is the birthday celebration of the King of Malaysia. So Wednesday is a day off for the kids. And it is the same day that my husband has to go out to work in another province. So on Tuesday, my husband took the kids to do some activities together. My activities started today as usual, waking up, sending the kids to school and then going back to do housework. Today, my mother-in-law is not home, she went out with her friends. So today for lunch, I went to cook for the kids. Today, I chose to make Kuay Chap.
Actually, I didn't intend to make Kuay jap, but I saw the Kuay jap noodles that I bought from Thailand a long time ago, so I will make this menu for my daughter to eat. But the funny thing is that the ingredients may not be complete, such as tofu or even some meats that are necessary to add to make it delicious and full of flavor. Haha, but that's not a problem for me. I learned from my mother and watched a little YouTube. My mother is a person who makes very delicious Kuay jap because she has been selling Kuay jap in the school for many years. So the Kuay jap that I make is not very difficult. Start making Kuay jap as follows: marinate the pork. Then pound the garlic, pepper, and coriander root together. Then put the three friends that have been pounded together and stir-fry. Add a little bit of spices. When you smell the aroma, add enough water to boil the pork with the spices. And what is indispensable is five-spice powder, it will give a very fragrant aroma. As for boiling water, boil it and put the noodles in to boil. It will roll into a round shape like a tube. Then add tapioca flour or cornstarch and stir until cooked and turn off the heat. That's it. When my child comes home, he will eat a simple Kuay jap. If anyone likes to eat vegetables, add bean sprouts and sprinkle with coriander and garlic. That's it, you will get a delicious Kuay jap. My children love to eat it very much. My youngest daughter confirmed that she was very happy today with the food I made. Of course, she asked me what I put in it. So I told her that I put my heart into it. That's why every dish I make for my child is so delicious. She smiled cutely.
Until 5 pm, my husband took the kids to the eco shop because they agreed to go shopping for a little bit. My youngest daughter was happy again. She said that she didn't want any toys but she wanted to go see beautiful things. She was so small, she wanted to see beautiful things. Haha. When she got there, she went to the stationery section. Not only do kids like to go there, even I like to go there. Why is that? Because all the stationery there is designed to look very useful. For example, the erasers have cartoon food shapes which are cute and attract the attention of the kids. Some kids can buy them after talking to their parents. My daughter was very interested in these things. After that, she went to the comic book sales. She likes to look at pictures or some books that she can read, she will read to me.
After shopping from the eco shop, the kids had dinner. Today, the kids said to their dad, "Tomorrow, Dad will go out to work in another province. Today, you want to eat something delicious that you want to eat, and I want you to rest without cooking for you tonight." Haha, this is the idea of the kids wanting to go out to eat because I can't make burgers. The kids want to eat burgers, so they said that to their dad. It was an innocent and lovely word that was very kind to me. So, their dad agreed. My eldest daughter ate 2 burgers, the youngest daughter ate 1 burger. My husband and I ate only 1 burger each and ate French fries and talked until the kids were full. Then we drove back home. And this is our activity. You can see how many times in a day the kids can be happy. It's a good day. The kids will know only happiness and sadness. They don't remember it because they are in this good time.
