Greetings friend @theentertainer To prepare authentic Venezuelan arepas, you can follow these basic steps:
Ingredients:
- White or yellow pre-cooked corn flour
- Water
- Salt to taste
- oil
procedure ?
1. In a container, combine the precooked corn flour with water and salt until you obtain a homogeneous and soft dough.
2. Form the dough into balls and flatten them to give them a disk shape.
3. Cook the arepas in a hot pan until golden on both sides.
4. Once the arepa is cooked, cut it in half and proceed to fill it with your preferred ingredients: such as stewed chicken, avocado, cheese, shredded meat among many other things.
