Environmental pollution due to the use of plastic and polythene has become a major problem in today's society. People knowingly or unknowingly release things like polythene and plastic into the environment. But they may never have thought how much damage it would cause. Generally, once these types of waste are added to the environment, they will take a long time to decompose. In this way, people themselves will have to bear the consequences of the negative effects caused by the polythene and plastic that are released into the environment on a daily basis.

If we can contribute individually or to reduce the use of plastic and polythene, it is a gesture of gratitude to the environment. I have seen how much waste like plastic and polythene has accumulated especially near the beach. These are really unpleasant to see. I have thought at that time, why are people used to leave their waste in public places like this? No one can bear it when we ourselves damage the environment and then turn the environment around and punish us for it.

Many natural disasters in today's society have increased more than in the past due to the constant misdeeds done by people to the environment. As long as we protect the environment, nature will protect us. So, isn't the main reason for the scarcity of drinking water, which is a major problem in the world today, is the deposition of waste such as plastic and polythene at the bottom of rivers and streams..? How many people in some countries and regions are suffering without even a little water to drink..?

This is a very sad situation. Actually, plastic and polythene have become indispensable for people. But we can use substitutes for plastic and polythene. One way to reduce this damage is to recycle them instead of releasing them into the environment.

We all contribute as much as we can to build a plastic-free environment.
