CCS Contest April Theme "Beauty of Nature" | Beautiful Flowers
Hello friends,
Design made with using canva app
I hope you all are well. This is my participation in the contest organized by @visionaer3003. I am very thankful to @visionaer3003 for organizing such a wonderful contest. I have already shared with you some pictures of the beautiful bougainvillea and orchid flowers in our garden over the past two days. So today this contest caught my eye, so I decided to share some pictures of two other types of flowers.
Today I have some pictures of yellow-colored ratmal and Rajapohottu flowers. Actually, I did not take these pictures for this contest. But I suddenly saw this contest, so I thought of submitting those pictures to the contest.
yellow-colored ratmal ( Scientific name :- Ixora coccinea )
Ratmal is one of the types of flowers that are commonly found in every garden. These flowers are red and yellow in color. Ratmala is a small flower with four petals and flowers in clusters. Ratmal tree is a perennial plant that grows in the bush. The leaves of this plant are dark green and quite large leaves.
These flowers are used for garden decoration as well as medicine. The ratmal plant produces small seeds called ratmal seeds, which turn red when ripe. Also, these seeds of ratmal can be eaten. I love to eat ripe rathmal seeds.
Actually I should remind of something else. Not only the ratmal, but also the leaves and bark of the ratmal are important medicinally.
Rajapohottu ( Scientific name :- Amaranthoides globosa )
This is Rajapohottu flowers. I have mentioned the scientific name of these above. There are many of these rajapohottu flowers in our garden. Because these flowers are quickly spread by the wind, they are very easy to breed. There are several colors of flowers like white, yellow and dark pink and in our garden we have dark pink rajapohottu flowers.
The flower is small round and the leaves are slightly larger. These are single blooming flowers and the plant grows like a bush. This Rajapohottu flower plant is not a very tall species. After the flower dies, the petals can be used to propagate new plants. This is also a common flower species.
