I follow Hindu religion and in our beliefs yellow color has a lot of importance. In our religion yellow color is considered very auspicious . Here we start every auspicious work and wear clothes of some special color. Yellow color is prominent among us and I must say that I also like yellow color very much.

For me, yellow color is a very playful color. Seeing yellow color brings happiness to the mind and gives relief to the eyes. It feels cheerful and active .

Basant Panchami is celebrated in our country in the time between when the autumn season ends and the summer season begins. The main reason for this is that yellow mustard flowers bloom in the fields. It seems that entire nature is also wearing a yellow chunri .

On the day of Basant Panchami, every Hindu wears yellow colored clothes and eats yellow colored food. We add sugar, saffron, turmeric and chopped nuts to the rice and make it yellow colored sweet rice, which is very tasty both to look at and eat. And we make barfi from gram flour and Motichoor laddus and eat yellow colored food throughout the day because Basant Panchami is celebrated as a festival in our country and a lot of sweet dishes are eaten during the festival. It is more important to start every good day with something sweet.

Lord Vishnu

I am a great devotee of Lord Vishnu and the color of our Lord Vishnu's clothes is also yellow.

The color of turmeric is also yellow, which is one of the spices and among Hindus, it is accompanied by the initial turmeric ceremony of the wedding. A few days before the wedding, the family members grind the steep turmeric and make a paste and then apply turmeric on the body of the boy and girl. After the paste is applied then all the wedding rituals start from that day .
