Saludos amigos de Camping Club Steemit . Para esta edición del reto #ccsmacrophotography les comparto algunas fotos de un insecto "hermosamente horroroso". Es una larva de escarabajo de unos 10 cms de largo y unos 2 cms de grosor. La encontré temprano en la mañana en el patio de la casa luego de una noche lluviosa. Probablemente salio de su escondite escapando del agua.

La tomé con cuidado, la lleve dentro de casa al sitio donde tengo un miniestudio fotográfico, allí la puse a interactuar con diversos elementos procediendo a capturar las fotos, tanto que me costó decidirme por solo una y presento varias para el reto.

Como dije, es una larva, ella pasa mucho tiempo enterrada bajo tierra alimentándose de las savia y raíces de arboles, plantas y hortalizas, por lo que es considerada una plaga para los cultivos. Como en el patio no hay plantas cultivables, la volví a colocar cerca de un árbol en libertad.
