Good evening friends, wherever you are, on this occasion I will of course take part in one of the most extraordinary contests, namely in this best community, namely CCS. Today's theme is street photography.

Street photography is a genre of photography that captures everyday moments in people's lives on city or village streets. Even though it looks simple, street photography requires sensitivity to the surrounding environment, the ability to observe unique moments, and the courage to capture them.

Street photography has been around since the beginning of the development of photography in the 19th century. In those days, large and heavy cameras made street photography a challenge. However, photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson changed the way we see the world with his iconic work. Henri is known for the concept of the “decisive moment,” which refers to the precise moment to capture an emotionally and visually powerful image.

Street photography has several techniques that differentiate it from other types of photography:

Presence in the Moment: Street photographers must always be ready to capture fleeting moments. This requires concentration and patience.

Creative Composition: Street photographers often focus on interesting compositions, such as patterns, lines, shadows, and contrast. They also use techniques such as "frame within a frame" to direct the viewer's gaze.

Interaction with Subjects: Some street photographers interact with their subjects, while others prefer to be invisible observers. It is important to respect the privacy of individuals captured in photographs.

Color and B/W Selection: Many street photos are taken in color, but some prefer the classic black-and-white style, which can give the image a different mood.

Street photography scenes are often a reflection of the fast-paced and varied daily life of big cities. In one photo, they can convey stories of happiness, sadness, hope, or even social conflict. It is an art form that allows us to see the world from multiple perspectives.

Street photography is a fascinating art that allows us to see the world through the eyes of a photographer who is sensitive to the details and beauty of everyday life. In the hustle and bustle of the city or the tranquility of the countryside, street photography allows us to reflect on human life, ephemeral moments and the hidden beauty all around us. Maybe one day, you too can try this skill and capture the beauty behind the street corners that many people might miss.
