Hiding Beetle

I am not sure the name and the species of this beetle. I was wandering around some abandoned yard in search of some macro photos. It was almost kind of an empty day because I can almost see no insects around.

But when I gave a closer look, I found this little beetle hiding on the leaves of wedelia weeds. It was hiding at a very difficult angle to shoot, these photos are the best I can get.
